Assange
Just watching Trackside and on comes Aiden Rodley going on about the Kiwi connection. Hes in Australia. The horse is Nature Strip in the Everest. Trained by a Kiwi (OK) and part owned by a Kiwi (OK) but why are we sending him there? Am I missing something? Can I ask why is a good idea to send him there?
Ludwig
A happy side effect of the decision, however, was that we in the south didn't have to endure his expertise as host and tipster of southern racing. A sweet relief. 1

A sweet relief. I take issue with that. Last time when left alone doing the Sunday South Island meeting he was terrific. Plenty pertinent interviews. Got someone on the ground giving wrap on recent jumpouts. Tips were spot on. Maybe he was too good and stole your thunder as to tips. Your criticism not fair at all. 1
Freda
I would have to say he was pleasant and easy to chat to when down at the National meeting...very friendly and approachable.

They would have just sent someone else less deserved like some of the gravy train self serving junket chasing fkwits that have worked for the TAB in the past.
