    • Sunday, Dusseldorf, Germany, post time: 15:40, 167TH HENKEL-PREIS DER DIANA – GERMAN OAKS-G1, €500,000, 3yo, f, 11fT Field: Garden Of Eden (Ire) (Saxon Warrior {Jpn}), Santagada (GB) (Soldier Hollow {GB}), Spirited Style (GB) (Sea The Stars {Ire}), Lady Charlotte (GB) (Golden Horn {GB}), Nicoreni (Ger) (Brametot {Ire}), Nyra (Ger) (Isfahan {Ger}), Innora (Ger) (Lord Of England {Ger}), Lips Vega (Ire) (Lope De Vega {Ire}), Winnyzja (Ire) (Sottsass {Fr}), Starlight Lips (Ger) (Ghaiyyath {Ire}), Raposa (Ger) (Frankel {GB}), Stugardia (Ger) (Tai Chi {Ger}), Meeresbrise (GB) (Sea The Moon {Ger}), Honeybee (Ger) (Adlerflug {Ger}). TDN Verdict: Coolmore's G2 Ribblesdale heroine Garden Of Eden and Godolphin's Listed Aphrodite victrix Spirited Style both bid to register a third overseas success in Europe's final G1 Oaks of the season. The former will be partnered by Ryan Moore, who overlooks the stable's runners in France to be on duty here. Lady Charlotte surrendered her unbeaten record when ninth in last month's G1 Deutsches Derby and leads the home defence seeking some measure of compensation. Santagada steps up from the one-mile trip, having won Hamburg's G3 Stuten Meile on Derby Day, while Winnyzja holds claims coming back off a win in Mulheim's Listed Diana Trial. [Sean Cronin] Sunday, Deauville, France, post time: 16:40, PRIX ROTHSCHILD – FONDS EUROPEEN DE L'ELEVAGE-G1, €300,000, 3yo/up, f/m, 8fT Field: Riyabovka (Fr) (Saxon Warrior {Jpn}), Start Of Day (GB) (Night Of Thunder {Ire}), Pinta (Fr) (Zarak {Fr}), Spiritual (Ire) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}), Crimson Advocate (Nyquist), Fallen Angel (GB) (Too Darn Hot {GB}), Mandanaba (Fr) (Ghaiyyath {Ire}), Exactly (Ire) (Frankel {GB}), January (Ire) (Kingman {GB}), Atsila (Ire) (Phoenix Of Spain {Ire}), Godspeed (Fr) (Hello Youmzain {Fr}), Pina Sonata (GB) (Pinatubo {Ire}), Matilda (Ger) (Soldier Hollow {GB}). TDN Verdict: The Gosden stable, which won this in 2012 and 2013 with Elusive Kate, is doubly represented with G2 Duke Of Cambridge winner Crimson Advocate bidding to bounce back off a third in last month's G1 Falmouth at Newmarket. Elusive Kate followed a similar path en route to both successes. Rab Havlin retains the ride aboard stablemate Spiritual, who registered a wide-margin victory in Epsom's G3 Princess Elizabeth on Derby Day when last seen. Coolmore duo January and Exactly have each failed to win in three starts this term and preference is for the former, who hit the board in Royal Ascot's G1 Coronation before finishing ahead of Crimson Advocate when second in the Falmouth. Exactly ran fourth in the G1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches, but has something to find coming back off a sixth in the Coronation. Trainer Aidan O'Brien seeks a third win in the contest. The home defence is led by Princess Zahra Aga Khan's Mandanaba, who was a close-up third in the Pouliches before dropping out of the places nearing the line to be fourth in June's G1 Prix de Diane. She will be accompanied by runaway G2 German 2,000 Guineas heroine Matilda, who has joined the Graffard stable since registering that career high. [Sean Cronin] Sunday, Dusseldorf, Germany, post time: 14:22, FRITZ HENKEL-PREIS-G3, €55,000, 3yo/up, 8fT Field: Penalty (Ger) (Frankel {GB}), Best Lightning (Fr) (Sidestep {Aus}), Geography (Ger) (Holy Roman Emperor {Ire}), Aigle Vaillant (Fr) (Wings Of Eagles {Fr}), Glady Tiger (Ger) (Zoffany {Ire}), Next Mine (Ger) (Dabirsim {Fr}). TDN Verdict: The veteran Best Lightning was a half-length too good for Next Mine when successful in June's G3 Grosser Preis der Wirtschaft, but needed every yard of the nine-furlong trip to inch ahead nearing the line in that Dortmund contest. Eckhard Sauren's retained rider Thore Hammer-Hansen keeps faith with the latter over the owner's Penalty and Glady Tiger. Last year's winner Geography tuned up for this with a second in last month's G3 Prix Messidor at Chantilly. [Sean Cronin] Sunday, Deauville, France, post time: 14:31, SKY SPORTS RACING PRIX DE PSYCHE – FONDS EUROPEEN DE L'ELEVAGE-G3, €73,200, 3yo, f, 10fT Field: Zia Agnese (Fr) (Romanised {Ire}), Cankoura (Fr) (Persian King {Ire}), Al Uqda (Ire) (Ghaiyyath {Ire}), Life Is Beautiful (GB) (Night Of Thunder {Ire}), Safia (Fr) (Sottsass {Fr}), Whataboutism (Fr) (Camelot {GB}), Miss Of Change (Fr) (King Of Change {GB}). TDN Verdict: Alex Pantall trainee and Listed Prix Madame Jean Couturie victrix Al Uqda puts her perfect four-for-four record on the line, but may have to give best to G1 Prix de Diane third Francis Graffard representative Cankoura, who had previously accounted for Ilda Rosa in May's Listed Prix Finlande. TDN Rising Star Safia defeated the same rival in June's Listed Prix Melisande and holds claims on a strict reading of that formline. Just one overseas runner is set to head postward, Lady Bamford's Life Is Beautiful, who was last seen registering a fifth behind G1 Preis der Diana contender Garden Of Eden in Royal Ascot's G2 Ribblesdale. As ever, the Andre Fabre stable merits respect and G3 Prix Chloe fourth Whataboutism cannot be discounted. [Sean Cronin] Sunday, Deauville, France, post time: 17:50, SKY SPORTS RACING PRIX SIX PERFECTIONS – FONDS EUROPEEN DE L'ELEVAGE-G3, €73,200, 2yo, f, 7fT Field: Narissa (Ire) (Siyouni {Fr}), Clea Chope (Fr) (Muhaarar {GB}), Bandiagara (GB) (Zelzal {Fr}), Secret Hideaway (Ire) (Starspangledbanner {Aus}), Wetsand (Ire) (Acclamation {GB}), Green Spirit (Kingman {GB}), Balantina (Ire) (Ten Sovereigns {Ire}), Royal Bay Cen (Ire) (New Bay {GB}). TDN Verdict: The form of this year's G3 Albany Stakes has been received several boosts in the interim and Donnacha O'Brien representative Balantina gets a chance to add further lustre here. She ran third in that Royal Ascot heat and sets the standard. Her rivals include the Aga Khan Studs' once-raced Narissa, who attained TDN Rising Star status with a stunning eight-length victory over this distance at Saint-Cloud in June and rates an obvious danger. The undefeated duo Green Spirit and Wetsand should not be overlooked, while Listed Marygate winner Secret Hideaway steps up in trip coming back off an unplaced effort in Royal Ascot's G2 Queen Mary. [Sean Cronin]. Sunday, Deauville, France, post time: 19:00, PRIX DE CABOURG – FONDS EUROPEEN DE L'ELEVAGE-G3, €73,200, 2yo, 6fT Field: Afjan (Fr) (Mehmas {Ire}), Ikotofetsy (Fr) (Threat {Ire}), Tadej (GB) (Ardad {Ire}), Shiri (Fr) (Mehmas {Ire}), Baileys Encanta (GB) (Iffraaj {GB}), Jeudixx (Fr) (Hello Youmzain {Fr}). TDN Verdict: Europe's weekend stakes action concludes with an open renewal of this contest and Archie Watson trainee Tadej is taken to better a sixth in Royal Ascot's G2 Coventry and a third over this trip in Chantilly's G2 Prix Robert Papin last month. He encounters Al Shaqab Racing's G2 Norfolk sixth and Listed Prix Yacowlef second Afjan, who rates as the main danger. Yacowlef third Jeudixx, like Afjan, is upped to six furlongs for the first time, while Francis Graffard representative Shiri is two-for-two after wins at Longchamp and Chantilly and merits respect.
