    • Blackout Time (Not This Time), most recently fourth in the GII Rebel Stakes, tuned up for an expected start in the Mar. 28 GI Arkansas Derby with a bullet four-furlong drill in :47.00 (1/90) at Oaklawn Park Saturday. Under retired jockey Robby Albarado, Blackout Time worked with stablemate Gould's Gold, a 5-year-old stakes winner who is entered in the Mar. 21 GIII Essex Handicap. Clockers caught Blackout Time in :24.20 for his opening quarter-mile and galloping out five furlongs in :59.60 and six furlongs in 1:13.40. “Everything is still on track for the Arkansas Derby,” co-owner Lance Gasaway said in a text message Sunday morning. Blackout Time was tabbed a 'TDN Rising Star presented by Hagyard' following his 9 3/4-length maiden victory at Ellis Park last August. He concluded his juvenile campaign with a runner-up effort behind champion Ted Noffey in the Oct. 4 GI Claiborne Breeders' Futurity. • STAR ACTRESS (f, 3, Justify–Star Act {SP, $147,605}, by Street Cry {Ire}) was unveiled Feb. 8 at this venue trying a seven-furlong maiden race on the main track, and despite a wide trip, closed ferociously late to claim second by a half-length. Back here as the 3-5 favorite with added real estate to work with, Star Actress went one better while stalking the pace from much closer. Improving her position down the backstretch  to come even with the pacesetter and another challenger by the half-mile marker, she was vying for command by the time they swung into the final bend. On a contested lead entering the home stretch, Star Actress had extended her advantage to a length inside the sixteenth pole and she comfortably held Song of Sarah (Curlin) at bay in second. The victress is a full-sister to 2023 champion juvenile filly Just F Y I, MGISW, $1,727,530, who changed hands at Fasig-Tipton November last year for $4.5-million–Japan's Katsumi Yoshida was the winning bid. The pair hails from a broodmare who enjoys a perfect strike rate for offspring at the races. With four winners to her name, the late Star Act's most recent of racing age is a juvenile colt by Life Is Good who will look to continue the family tradition. This is the immediate female family of multiple Grade I winner Stellar Jayne. 4th-Gulfstream, $68,000, Msw, 3-15, 3yo, f, 1 1/16m, 1:45.25, gd, 1 length. STAR ACTRESS (f, 3, Justify–Star Act {SP, $147,605}, by Street Cry {Ire}) Lifetime Record: 2-1-1-0, $54,400. O/B-George Krikorian (KY); T-William I.
