In this continuing series, we take a look ahead at US-bred and/or conceived runners entered for the upcoming weekend at the tracks on the Japan Racing Association circuit, with a focus on pedigree and/or performance in the sales ring. O-Lord Horse Club Co Ltd; B-K I Farm; T-Kodai Hasegawa Sunday, January 19, 2025 5th-NKY, ¥11,850,000 ($76k), Newcomers, 3yo, 1600mT LLEVADA (f, 3, Volatile–Top Hat Tango, by Graydar), a $72,000 Keeneland September yearling who resold for $85,000 at last year's OBS April Sale, looks to become the third winner from as many to race from his dam, a winning half-sister to Grade II-winning sprinter Fast Bullet (Speightstown) and GSP Blairs Roarin Star (Roar). The May 1 foal's third dam Brave Raj (Rajab) was the Eclipse champion juvenile filly of 1986.
