    • “In a time when perception matters more than ever, this is a welcome and timely step forward.” “This isn’t about PR or spin. It’s about showing people what actually happens and trusting that the truth speaks for itself.” I quest it might be time for me to head off to the back paddock and bring in the full sister to the great Pinocchio!  I be willing to sell 5% shares at $10000. Planning to set resulting strapping young colt for the G1 two year old races and then later go for the Derby and as a 4 year old either the Cox Plate or Melbourne Cup, though will keep open having a go at the Everest! Aldous Huxley has agreed  to take a small share and also train the champ for us!!!  Regards,  George Orwell   ps, minimal propaganda was used in this post!
    • I've raised that before. You'd think so but it seems to be a mutually acceptable variance to that.
    • How in a Capitalist economy can a large multinational be allowed to form a total monopoly? Claiming amongst other things that it will allow them to better deal with problem gambling??? While at the same time be screwing the punter with ever large 'take outs'!  Yeah Right!!! I presume that these 'leading' capitalist are in support of this new monopoly?  "Vela is joined by Cambridge Stud owner Brendan Lindsay, Waikato Stud boss Mark Chittick, big-time investor and breeder Greg Tomlinson, Ken Breckon, who owns giant harness racing operation Breckon Farms, and in a huge coup, champion expat trainer Chris Waller."   ps. Does CER come into play?
    • Half way through the year, and all the Big 3 yearolds will be aiming up for Derby glory the next 6 months through Australia and NZ. The great Northern Derby already been run and won by star horse Marketplace . The NSW Derby went off as well , to a budding star as well in the Emma Stewart trained undefeated 'Always Hot' earlier in the year. Saturday night sees RUBIRA for Mark Purdon and New Zealand take on the best of our locals in the Redcliffe Derby. Rubira has won all 4 of his races starts this year so far as 3 year old. Looks a Great chance in the QLD Derby Group 1 next month. (won last year by the NZer Major Hot)  I said gid'day to old Marky Boy 6 or 7 years ago when he turned up in Brissie with a 3 yearold and promptly won 4 out of 4 races in QLD , inc 3 Derbies. The horse becoming a Millionaire ( 2 and half million 💰won)  later on and finishing with 30 wins from 74 starts Including the NZ Cup. Super horse SELF ASSURED .  Maybe Rubira can follow in his footsteps ?? he's off to a bright start in his career.  Here's the Field for the GROUP 3 Redcliffe DERBY this Saturday night.  RUBIRA showing just $1.80 to win this . 2 of the fast Seymour Dixon runners placed in the NSW Derby behind the Emma Stewart trained winner = Path To Greatness and Fate Awaits look hard to beat.   Looks Like Multi Millionaires Mike Tanev ( It's Electrifying ) and Danny Zavitsanos ( Demon Blue ) have spent big bucks to try and buy another winner from NZ . think they're in for a bit of disappointment in this field . and Danny put Demon Blue with Dixon ? really ? a silly move as No way will he be beating Seymours colts with it lol 😂😉   1 111s1 RUBIRA NZ  M Purdon, N Purdon   Adam Sanderson   NR89  FR1   2 61281 SWEET ON LEXY  Bernie Hewitt   Bernie Hewitt   NR78  FR2   3 2s212 JUNGLE DRAGON  Bernie Hewitt   Bernie Hewitt   NR82  FR3   4 21129 FRENCH FRIES  Trent Dawson   Trent Dawson   NR70  FR4   5 12233 ITS ELECTRIFYING NZ  Chantal Turpin   Pete McMullen   NR70  FR5   6 22111 PATH TO GREATNESS  Grant Dixon   Trista Dixon   NR81  FR6    ------------------------------ Second Row ------------------------------  7 23212 UDDERLY SWEET (Em 1)  Chantal Turpin Redclif 28/06/2025 Pete McMullen   NR65  SR-   8 41s13 FATE AWAITS  Grant Dixon   Grant Dixon   NR82  SR1   9 91114 HEZATREACHEROUS  KerryAnn Morris   Robert Morris   NR77  SR2   10 63121 DEMON BLUE NZ  Grant Dixon   Jack Chapple (C)   NR65  SR3   11 15s31 MAC BON  Luke McCarthy   Luke McCarthy
    • Thursday, Newmarket, post time: 15:35, EMPRESS FILLIES' STAKES-Listed, £40,000, 2yo, f, 6fT Field: Anthelia (Ire) (Supremacy {Ire}), Amberia (Ire) (Coulsty {Ire}), Argentine Tango (GB) (Mattmu {GB}), Awraad (Ire) (Awtaad {Ire}), Bella Lyra (Ger) (Oasis Dream {GB}), Game Striker (GB) (Sergei Prokofiev), Meelaf (GB) (Iffraaj {GB}), Midnight Tango (GB) (Night Of Thunder {GB}), Miss Piggle (GB) (Havana Grey {GB}). TDN Verdict: Ryan Moore has been booked to ride the impressive Windsor novice winner Bella Lyra and that may provide a clue as to the regard in which she is held at the Richard Hughes stable. Penalised for her Listed National Stakes win, Anthelia at this stage doesn't know how to lose while Amberia couldn't do any more than win her Leicester maiden by six lengths and could be smart.
