    FFS are you really losing the plot? You posted the reason! Failure to inform Stewards of injury post race in a timely manner. The dog was eventually presented post race to vet with an injury. No conspiracy. Everyone doing their job but E. Cole not doing it in a timely manner.

Cole was warned about. Well clear to any literate person. I'm surprised you didn't know what rule 77 was about.

    Did the Stewards walk the track for safety prior to racing? Or do they assume that because it is a synthetic surface they don't need to?

    Why up the stakes in high end races? It has been proven it doesn't get larger or better quality fields it only increases the net loss in revenue. Why not raise low end stakes instead as well as adjusting handicapping so horses stay racing longer? Increasing the number of races is pointless if the number of horses available are declining. Unless you didn't know horses can only race so many times a year. The Cambridge fields prove that increasing the number of available races doesn't attract horses because they are not there or owners and trainers have figured that they can get into races with higher stakes more easily.

    You aren't as good as you claim with finding things. Stones and Glasshouses! Perhaps Lisa Cole was still on her way back from Cambridge where her dogs raced the day before. E Cole was maybe the licensed handler on course and responsible.

    FFS Rule 77(1). 77 Greyhound in season must be scratched (1) Where a trainer or person in charge of a greyhound knows or believes that a greyhound is in season, the trainer or person in charge of the greyhound may scratch the greyhound from the Event the greyhound is nominated for or engaged in.

    Yep about sums you up. Even if you were correct there are very few systems in the world that involve data entry that are 100% correct. None of them are immune from the intense scrutiny of ideologically driven trainspotters such as you and Chazza.

    She's a very balanced rider and can ride at 52.5. 88 wins and still claims 2kg. That claim will disappear soon.

    So what needs to be done to turn it around? Three areas in my opinion: 1. Improve access to the product; 2. Fix the handicapping; 3. Improve low end stakes by redistributing the top end downwards. HRNZ - you only have three tasks.

    I do recall a similar incident with Thoroughbreds in recent years.
