  1. The current board member can't have much integrity.
  2. Hearsay. Any proof?
  3. I would because I'm not a hypocrite. Really on that basis you'd rank House above Mark Purdon, Cran Dalgety, the Williamson's, Herlihy? I know who I'd send my expensive yearling to!!!
  4. FFS @the galah use your favourite measure the UDR and House is distinctly below average. One major win in the last 3 years - a listed race at Kaikoura. Averages stuff all stakes winnings per starts and only clocks up winners because he chases lower grade races all over the country!
  5. He's only had one major win in the last 3 years! Even @the galah would struggle to say House was an elite trainer. @the galah gets all hot when the All Stars drop below UDR 0.3500! House has never ever got close. On all standard measures House is average at best.
  6. 24 wins from 247 starts? Hardly above average. Barely reaches 0.2000 UDR at the best of times. Barely earns more than $1,200 per start. Anyway you've made 14 posts on BOAY the majority of them promoting House. What's the connection? Hell you even promoted him to take over as CEO of HRNZ. I'd suggest reading how the judiciary described his recent affidavit that he's got Buckley's chance!
  7. I see Jamie Richards is well off the pace in the Trainers Premiership. When will he move to OZ?
  8. Nice win. I was starting to think he may not acclimatise to the Hong Kong setup. I see the trainer scored in the first at 25-1. $165-1 winner on the card!
  9. @the galah you are naive if you don't think there are factions within the industry. Unfortunately some kept fueling INCA out of bitterness and jealousy rather than substance. Harness Racing has always been like that. Michael House is an average trainer at best.
  10. Yet you focus on UDR's which on their own aren't a very good indicator of stable performance. Which contradicts your assertion that the All Stars seem to peak for the big races. So for example a horse could run out of the placings in the lead up races to a Group race then win. It would have a poor UDR but nabs the big pile of bacon. But you knew that and you knew on the big day the All Stars would be primed and ready. The reality is it is very hard to keep a horse at the elite level of performance for a long time. No point winding your horse up for an Open race worth $20k when the target is the $500k race two starts away. Anyone who has been involved in training a horse knows that. I've seen it first had recently where in the two weeks prior to the big dance no stone was unturned in ensuring the horse was ready. Full vet checks, bloods tested, diet supplements and more.
  11. But so arguably would the Dunn's. However you constantly inferred something nefarious. The reality is as the top level all you need to do is get that extra 1 to 2% in performance and you are lengths ahead of everyone else.
  12. It's not harsh it's a fair description of your posts on Kah. I wouldn't know who her No1 fan was - probably her mother.
  13. Ask your Sportsbet Rep to explain. @Nowornever 's stake was $100. He collected $6,000 in four weeks. His net return was $5,900. He may have turned over that $100 quite a few times but that doesn't change his net winnings over the 4 weeks.
  14. Again that statement highlights your ignorance. It would be near impossible to post a "cert" on BOAY unless you ignored value.
  15. I realise you haven't got a clue about much especially wagering however @Nowornever won overall and his losing bets are irrelevant. The takeout comes out of the total tote pool for each bet therefore what is affected is the final price I.e. dividend. So arguably he got a dividend less 27%. But that 27% covers cost of sales and revenue. If the TAB dropped the takeout to 22% @Nowornever would have got 7% more in winnings. He still would have lost all his stake on his losing bets as that stake was divided between the TAB and the winners. Yes we understand it would be beyond you.
  16. Not surprised those NOT supporting McGrath. Gives everyone a clue about lots of things.
  17. I'm sure you'll let us know when you know and you won't hesitate to put the boot in.
  18. That Jaylah Kennedy is from Mosgiel as well and she is riding well at Sandown today.
  19. As I said @Yankiwi you only have one hobby and your aren't very good at it.
  20. Tayla Melvin was the 23rd apprentice to score their first win wearing the tangerine colours. Tayla rode Devoted to win Race 5 at Pukekohe today. I had the pleasure of meeting Tayla when she was the strapper for my mates 2yr old filly at Te Aroha. A charming polite young lady from the deep south (Otago) who has an infectious enthusiasm for the racing game. 20240525_135845.mp4
  21. Quid gets up at $54 for Kevin Myers at Trentham. Lo and behold he is interviewed on Trackside! Gives his apprentice a serve - "she was overweight at the beginning of the week but we worked her hard"! Emily Woller first win!
  22. Yes I suspect that is always the case each season. They have a big stable rather than a boutique stable.
  23. By "usually pay" you mean on the tote? So it the Fixed Odds algorithm linked to the tote pool? I.e. if the tote pool is small then the FO return correspondingly will be small? I presume they only ban those playing solely the Fixed Odds as they already clip the ticket on the tote pool.
  24. So when it is the All Stars doing well you infer cheating when they are not you infer they have stopped cheating for some reason. But with the Dunn stable this improved performance is due to John Dunn being in form, hard work and nice horses. Still the Dunn's have raced 4 times more than the All Stars for a return of $3,400 per start compared to the All Stars $10,408 per start. Sure the Dunn's UDR is up on average but not hugely. As for John Dunn it would seem he is picking the best drives from a large stable.
  25. What difference would it make if you took a Fixed Odds Trifecta?
