  1. Which trainer had 800k race starts?
  2. Then what ARE you "suggesting"? From my hands on experience the best stables take no prisoners and work their horses hard. Fact of life there will be casualties. If you don't know that then you are naive.
  3. You seem to be the only person worrying about the good or bad look. Livestock - shit happens.
  4. You base your estimate on what data? Does every stable report the deaths of horses in work?
  5. How many horses go through the Telfer system? Let's start with that first Galah.
  6. @the galah if you want to look at the stats check how many don't make it the races at many of the best stables? I'll tell you what you should conclude and that is the top stables train their horses very very hard. The attrition rate is massive. But as I guessd you have signed up to the conspiracy theory in the absence of any evidence. Now you are suggesting the RIB are in on it.
  7. Seems he's fallen into that dark hole of harness conspiracy while trying to occupy the moral high-ground of racing integrity. On the latter he would have the opposite view to you regarding CJ's recent whip violation.
  8. @Karrotsisback "Why? Pretty sure Chief was the leak at that went & told Te Akau about Gospels post. That then saw Gospel rightly or wrongly banned from here." Wrong again Karrots. I wouldn't waste my time nor Te Akau's about anything the Hamster aka @Gospel of Judas writes. Been far bigger issues on BOAY involving far bigger fish than him. A great story for a other day.
  9. I guess @the galah will tell us that it only proves that there is a mystery illegal PED that is undectable! Even with a full post mortem undertaken. Yeah right! No doubt @Archie Butterfly will spin it out for a bit. No pun intended.
  10. Racing Integrity Board Investigation into recent horse fatalities regarding the Stonewall Stud of Steve and Amanda Telfer Category: News | Uncategorized Date: 09/01/2023 A thorough investigation has been concluded by the RIB staff into the race day deaths of three horses, Cya Doit, Alta Debonair and Seasider. There is no evidence to suggest that either Steve or Amanda Telfer, or any other persons associated with the horses prior to these races, have either deliberately or mistakenly, caused the unfortunate deaths of these three horses. The investigation, which included postmortem examinations, toxicology tests and expert opinions from several veterinary staff, determined that these deaths were the result of unrelated sudden medical events.
  11. @globederby12 you obviously don't know the meaning of the word integrity. Are you and @hesi still PM'ing BS to others on other sites? So much for integrity. As for @Karrotsisback unlike @Brodie you are well off the money. But thanks for the laughs!
  12. So @Happy Sunrise you call someone a liar and "couldn't care less". Then why bother in the first place? Seems a contradiction to me. Great moderation policy over on that dark side. Would never let @Brodie post there or @Thomass (policy of the forum owner) but OK to slander someone. Come on Happy @Happy Sunrise show some kahunas and post your allegations here.
  13. Thin edge of wedge. Ban whips, then nails in shoes, mouth bits, bridles, hobbles....... Animal rights activists are a minority.
  14. Happy Sunrise if you want to call me a liar why don't you do it on this site?
  15. Must be Oatham - he was Chair at Kumara?
  16. Clue? Wasn't she the Chair at Reefton?
  17. Algar?
  18. Or a semi-colon.
  19. Honestly the conditions weren't that bad yesterday. I've seen much worse and races continue. There was a great crowd there and it would have been a colossal day if it wasn't raining. I note the conditions were good enough for two jockeys to compete in the Open 3 legged race in the rain. I also noted that some of the horsemanship in the birdcage and going onto the track was a bit substandard. I'm guessing that the race riding standard was worse and that is a declining quality problem. They'll be asking for the races to be called off for sunstrike next.
  20. Bullshit. Its been raining all bloody day! Are the Jocks pants wet?
  21. The track is sand based. There is no way any horse slipped.
  22. I'm on course and have no idea why they have called it off.
  23. Geez what's with suspending the odds at Ruakaka?
  24. That view is gaining currency and doing the rounds. Who put pressure on and why?
  25. Geez next you'll all be saying that half the abandonments shouldn't have been!
