  1. Read the brochure. The science makes sense. In simple terms what you are doing is extracting from the blood cells that perform and encourage the body's natural system of repair. You are concentrating them so giving the natural process a boost and as it is given by injection you can localise the application. For example the repair of a snapped achilles tendon in a human is slowed by the fact that the tendon doesn't have its own blood supply it relies blood from surrounding tissue to provide the material to enable it to repair itself.
  2. It involves taking blood from a horse then spinning it to separate and enrich the plasma/platelet portion of the blood - essentially concentrate it. The platelets are then injected back into the horse mostly near areas of soreness or stress. It is therapeutic and not performance enhancing. The platelets contain special cells that promote more platelet production and cells that repair damaged tendons, ligaments and joints. Many of which don't have their own blood supply. Developed for the treatment of tendon/ligament damage in humans. It ISN'T EPO or performance enhancing. It is expensive therefore some argue that it should be banned because it isn't available to all. 40 years ago I would have used it for a couple of horses we had as it would have helped to get them and keep them sound. This is the company owned by Mark Purdon that provides this service in Canterbury. http://www.equinebloodsolutions.nz/ Updated-ACS-NZ-Brochure-Veterinary-Use-1.pdf
  3. Well maybe this is a time when the hoi polloi collectively support someone.
  4. Yeah I watch a couple of races and it brought back memories. LOL a 1100m race is nearly a lap of the track!
  5. Geez on the law of averages one club must get a free ride! Abandoned race days and heavy muddy tracks!
  6. Looking at where the Sun is rising they are facing East as well! Or are they facing the mecca of South Island racing - Reefton?
  7. Rule Number(s): 870(5)Following the running of Race 5, (Grant Plumbing Wellington Cup), Information A13629 was filed with the Judicial Committee. It was alleged that J BEE had galloped over the line and had been lapped on. Ms C Wigg had signed the Information form and said that she did not admit the breach. The Judge’s Placings ... 8. What after YOU suggested I was in fact Karrots?
  9. Well I suggest you read what I wrote at the time the Topic was created and in response to some posters. I think the majority of those who read what I wrote would attest that I was sympathetic to Kerr's situation and even advised posters to tread cautiously. Geez I even took some flak for my balanced comments. However you obviously have a warped agenda of some kind.
  10. I just thought you'd confirm that Karrots isn't one of my "thousand's of identities" on BOAY!
  11. Yep. History of its discovery and use in this research paper: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3043740/ If you read that article it might be a clue why Covid-19 hasn't spread as fast in Africa. ivermectin-use-pjab-87-013.pdf
  12. There is a long history Karrots. I won't elaborate in this Topic except to say it is easy to be nice in an echo chamber and where you are rewarded for servility. On BOAY you get the opportunity to post what you want (within wide boundaries) and if you post spin like JJ does you can expect it to be pointed out. Also there is a greater tolerance on BOAY to those who attempt to bite the hand that provides them a forum to espouse their points of view. Elsewhere that isn't tolerated as much.
  13. I'm sure Karrots will respond to that. However what is becoming obvious with the content and tenor of some of your posts is that you and the Comic Dog are working together. Remember if you sleep with dogs you get fleas - even if they are cartoon characters. Hypocrisy at its best - wouldn't expect anything less from the obsequious JJ Flash.
  14. You consider the coach decision a bad one?
  15. Nothing changes but a lot of the industry buy into the spin. There are many individuals like JJ Flash who reckon the TAB NZ and NZTR boards are "new brooms" when they aren't. As an aside what is Cameron George doing wrong at the Warriors?
  16. Rule Number(s): 638(1)(d)Following the running of Race 6, PGG Wrightson and Steven Shearing Contracting, Information A11765 was lodged by Stipendiary Steward, Mr Davidson against Jockey, Miss T Jonker, alleging that Miss Jonker permitted her mount MASTER LINCOLN to shift inwards dictating TOP OF THE STRAIGHT (T Moseley) inwards ... 17. Rule Number(s): 638(3(b)(ii)Following Race 5, Stipendiary Steward Mr N Goodwin lodged an Information with the Judicial Committee alleging a breach of Rule 638(3)(b)(ii) in that Eilish McCall used her whip excessively in the home straight. At the outset of the hearing, Ms McCall confirmed she understood the Rule and she admitted ... (Feed generated with FetchRSS)View the full article
  18. Perhaps he did. Why should we care? He's back training perhaps he sees an opening now that Mark and Natalie have gone?
  19. It costs to purchase quality. Racing a horse with the All Stars improved your odds of getting a good horse considerably. In the long run an All Star owner probably saves thousands.
  20. Are you going to get remotely back on track or do you want to end up having a conversation with yourself?
  21. Certainly won't try and be JJ Flash! No benefit in that!
  22. What double standards? You clearly don't understand the term much like you can't read an annual report.
  23. You are the one that is pissing inside the tent and has the inside information yet appears not to have read the annual report or indeed understood it.
  24. Well I think they have got the internet up there now.
  25. Happy Sunrise objected to how I run BOAY and decided to leave. I'd rather leave it at that and say no more.
