Sadly Huey it’s not confined to Racing. A lot of sports across the country are run shambolically. The central administration of them mirrors racing in that it’s full of best intentioned people who lack the skills. Read the article from the other day on Pirongia Racing Club, they have done zero to have a succession plan, it’s full of old coots who are out of touch and now face extinction. Have been to that event twice and both times left early because of chronic boredom and I am interested in Racing, imagine what the rest think.
