  1. Poor Hesi, wrong day to miss out mate.
  2. Regardless of outcomes of comps or picks, this forum has some serious action on it today. Buckloads of posts going on, Chief will be a happy man. good spirited stuff as well, mostly.
  3. I agree with you Turny, its time this guy was marched.
  4. F--k me dead, you try and help people learn about something and an idiot posts crap like that.
  5. Thats not very nice Pete, nothing I saw said "supersized superiority complex". Just remember that if nothing is questioned, nothing changes for better or worse.
  6. All punters do, other than those following the BP the day after.
  7. Newie, Mardi is completely correct, the format is entirely lottery style. No skill needed.
  8. WTF is that post PD?.
  9. Prices bet and where in BOLD. Just doing it this once for F--kwit, as what I bet is neither here nor there, its what you can bet that counts. I have given you the figure to aim for higher than in the post.
  10. 23/12/2018 13:20 gor R01 5 Five Kings $2.60 13:55 gor R02 5 Katango $5.50 15:40 gor R05 6 Jim's Gift $7.00 16:50 gor R07 5 The Quiet Man $7.00 17:25 gor R08 9 The Kraken $11.00 I will do an each day total and a running total as well based on my actual bet price. What are your prices Mardi?.
  11. This is for you Hesi to make yourself a few $ over the best betting period of the year. Chuck $10 a win on each I select & you will have a very profitable holiday period. Warning there will be horrific runs of outs so don't bail out at the first sign of a losing day. 5 bets today at Gore will be posted later once I have fixed them myself.
  12. Punting's a skill activity, whether it have money invovled or not, thats what sets it apart from the likes of Pokies, Lotto etc. Skill is something you don't have so i guess this sort of thing suits you.
  13. No surprises, another one of your low value posts you do on both forums.
  14. OMFG I just looked in your comps forum and this is how those are done as well? And F me people are tipping short priced favs in there, does anyone wonder why the likes of Mardi, Curious and myself win and you can’t?.
  15. Winning this comp under the rules requires every bet to be in double figures, In fact pick the rank outsider in each race on the 2 days and hope 1 gets up. I know it’s a fun no skill involved comp Hesi, but you now have $600 and if Thomass put $200 in I will also, but on the proviso you change the rules to require a level of skill. 1) Everyone starts with $100 bank and must bet in each race. But can bet any amount they wish provided they bet the full $100 on the first day. Win only bets. 2) All winnings are carried forward to the 2nd day so they can bet that, with the only rule of a bet in each race. give everyone an exact formula to enter so you can copy out for ease of calculating. r1 #10 $20 Perfect opportunity with decent money up to give this a real nudge, don’t low ball it with a lotto style formula. For those thinking stop being a wanker and there will be plenty, I say puntings about skill isn’t it?

    Value

I personally try and avoid races with a runner below $2.00 & almost never back anything below $2.50. I know plenty of punters only bet in this range, but my mental make up means I struggle with short priced losers.
  17. What do the 2 best bets do for anyone? Double the odds or?

    Value

Curious is right except for 1 point missing, if you think there is an absolute certainty in the race but it’s no value, then avoid the race. Picking something to beat a certainty is serverly denting your chances of winning.
  19. Well thanks to Rock On I have just got home from dining out and a few beverages. Bet Thomass is still in the Piha dunes with his blow up doll.
  20. Nope, don't touch Harness, far far too much behind closed doors to make any reasoning out of selections.
  21. For sure, as usual we don't hear a peep out of the BP fruitcake.
  22. Rock On wahooooo
  23. Some might think its strange how we can be so different in some of these, short answer is we are highlighting the extreme differences as great bets. Many of the others not shown here will be rated very similar. Now a loon like Thomass might say "well Glory Days is over the line" and it possibly is, but at the current odds in my opinion its unders and can win without me being interested, its a losing proposition at the odds. Between Mardi and I we have found 3 bets in the race at terrific overs which are far superior betting options long term.
  24. A couple of ones I like at odds Awapuni R5 #6 Percy's Gem ($4.30,$15.00) Rated $11.00 And Te Rapa R8 #2 Nothing Trivial ($7.20,$26.00) Rated $15.00 Odds not quite there.. Awapuni R6, I think Glory Days too short - I'd look at #13 Porcelain Princess ($7.20,$9.50) but not a lot in it. Rated $9.00 I rated Glory Days $5.50, not even close to a bet for me, Rock On is a super bet in that race.
  25. 12:53 awa R01 4 Fibonacci $6.50 14:35 awa R04 3 Skarloey $4.00 15:10 awa R05 1 Rock Band $25.00 15:45 awa R06 5 Jacksstar $11.00 15:45 awa R06 6 Rock On $15.00 16:20 awa R07 5 Southern Icon $25.00 16:55 awa R08 9 Toms $4.00 Bet of the Holidays possibly 12:35 wai R01 4 Pattern $4.00 13:10 wai R02 3 Guillocharm $11.00 14:55 wai R05 1 Iffindoubt $6.50 15:30 wai R06 12 Crystallize $9.00 Great bet 16:04 wai R07 11 Treasure $4.50 WTF, bet of the day at Te Rapa 16:39 wai R08 11 Easy Walking $6.00 Mardi thoughts?. I think there are some super bets in that bunch.
