Hmmmm https://www.grnz.co.nz/catch-the-action/13788/stewards-report.aspx This blind man is now on my register of corrupt Stewards. He's showing some severe favoritism towards this dogs kennel. The exact same dog let loose to play twice in one week. Not good enough... Open your eyes to the obvious Taunto or start thinking about shopping for a property in Taupo.

Tuesdays lineup. After Tuesdays race, this #3 should have been on a holiday before todays Addington card, where it got to have a chomp or two of what it was looking to have a chomp on. Todays replay wearing the #5 rug. It'll be interesting to see who's policing today & whether this dog escapes FTP/Marring charges twice in three days.
-
I haven't watched the race - I have no interest in the gallops. That said, HR's point above is paramount to fixing anything in the three codes. A punter is powerless after they've parted with hard earned. It's up to the RIU to uphold integrity & that's exactly what they need to do. I was involved in the Greyhound code for a short time & ran for the hills once I began to click how corrupt the powers were. One trainer scratched their dog a bit late & was fined $300. Yet one week prior another trainer committed fraud, was fined $300 & straight back to business as usual straight after the hearing. Really?

Then you're welcome to express your concerns with Chief Stipe.

fur que, a dog is required to wear a muzzle when you remove it from your trailer, van or bus. Basically anytime you're on the racecourse proper, even just to simply empty it & not go anywhere near the actual track. That's because there's a big difference between a racecourse & a race track. Joy, I did not post a photo of anyone online. I linked a photo from GRNZ's website which is located as below (notice both URL's are in GRNZ's domain). The complete GRNZ news article - https://www.grnz.co.nz/News/2182/Breeders-Bonus-Dollars-on-Offer-at-Cambridge (I had also noted that none of the three images of the podium at the bottom of this article, that none of the dogs were wearing a muzzle) The GRNZ actual image - https://www.grnz.co.nz/Files/News Photos/2019 January/Bigtime_Leads_10_01_19_sml.JPG If have an issue or reservations with your or someone else's image being posted on the internet, I suggest you contact GRNZ or possibly Peter Fenemor, as it clearly says it's his article.

The industry is always going to have its dodgy participants. When there's money involved a small percentage will always try to circumvent the rules for personal gain. What I can't get my head around is how so many good people in the industry just sit around and do nothing about the dodgy ones. In fact, several get behind the dodgy buggers and actually support them in their wayward ways. Cant people see what's going on? Has what Brendon had been accused of done any good at all for the industry? Why don't the 90% of the good honest hard-working people of the sport turn against him? It's instances like the one that's been hanging over everyone head for 3 years now that will close the doors. It's the inability of the RIU to uphold integrity that will shut the doors. Why don't participants fight for the future of the sport & their own well-being in it and actually HELP the RIU, or in this case the SPCA, to clean it up? It's your own destiny you should be fighting for. The choice is yours.

Thank you for the praise. I can't wait for the day Aaron Cross signs up on here so I can inform him that he's been dethroned. I've done so without even marching on Parliament or hosting a website, which both were done by him in attempts to get the industry shut down.

So the dogs first maiden win on 03/10/18 was done so under false pretences? Isn't that fraud? As for who's business the ownership of a racing dog is, that is public knowledge. That's why every registered greyhound has a trainer & owner displayed for it on the GRNZ website. Obviously for this dogs first win, Brendon Cole (solely) was its owner.
-
I didn't post the photo of those three people, GRNZ did. https://www.grnz.co.nz/News/2182/Breeders-Bonus-Dollars-on-Offer-at-Cambridge I merely linked the photo GRNZ posted into my post.
-
I've made this claim because it's the truth. Bigtime Leads first maiden win on 03/10/18. Bigtime Leads second maiden win on 08/10/18. So yes, a clear change in ownership. As for the rest of your questions & statements, you don't know what you're talking about. I've made no accusations of anyone live baiting, other than Brendon Cole & two other people in the photos that I'm not exactly sure who they are. Another member had questioned whether Tony & Emma support live kills. I stated that I have no evidence of that. That is not an accusation. That isn't even an insulation that anyone supports live kills.
-
I have no evidence of that. What I have shown is that Tony Potts & Brendon Cole are joint owners. I've shown that Tony purchased or was gifted at least a portion of a dog previously owned by Brendon alone. I've show that when the transfer of ownership occurred, the live baiting investigation was well underway & very widely publicised. I've connected the dots & formed my own opinion about how genuine, ethical I believe both Brendon & Tony are. You too are welcome to form your own opinion on the matter. It's well within your rights to do so.

Yes fur que, I owned a dog that in a race the Steward questioned my trainer about his performance & they reviewed replay footage together. That query did not lead to any charges being filed against the dog. Why fur que is trying to be ambiguous is beyond me. I have nothing to hide. Since fur que is currently an LP under GRNZ rules, maybe he's worried about his obligations under their social media policy & fair enough. It's exactly what I'd recommend that he does. So I'll help him out with that & do a bit of dirty work for him. The dogs he's referring to is King's Legacy. My name is Charles Bidwell. That said, I'd like to know a bit more about this photo & the training relationship which had lead up to it. Your co-owner is currently up on criminal charges for animal cruelty because of alleged live baiting he and others we undergoing in their kennels bull-ring. https://www.grnz.co.nz/News/2182/Breeders-Bonus-Dollars-on-Offer-at-Cambridge It seems the ownership of Bigtime Leads changed from "Brendon Cole" (solely) to "Brendon Cole & Tony Potts" sometime between 03 Oct 2018 & 08 Oct 2018 & that co-ownership remains exactly the same to this day. https://www.grnz.co.nz/greyhounds/profiles.aspx?AnimalID=30492 The animal cruelty investigation has been in the mainstream media since 2017. https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=11957686 So no, my post I'm not casting any judgement on decisions you have made or the way you choose to live your life. You're entitled to live you life in any way you choose to live it, as am I. That said, It's quite obvious that we likely have differing morals & ethics.

Spot on señora. Do I think the rule is right? Absolutely not. Does the RIU think the rule is right? Probably not. Does what either the RIU or myself believe about the rule matter even one iota? NO. The rules are the rules & the RIU should be enforcing them exactly the way they are written. Anything less is either incompetence or a flagrant disregard for the task they are charged with doing. Ignoring a rule is not upholding integrity on any level. They should be bringing forward charges for each & every instance of a breach of rule 47.10. They should also be using their influence (with haste) via a remit to get the rule changed to something more sensible. As written, the rule is easily enforced (which the RIU has obviously chosen not to). Either a dog is wearing a muzzle or it isn't. It's that simple! In the previous photo from the annual report, the dog isn't wearing a muzzle. It is either about to wear a muzzle or had just finished wearing a muzzle on a racecourse. That's a breach of rule 47.10

Well done Gambler. It appears as though you may have apprehended what might be your first criminal. Welcome to the club. ? https://www.grnz.co.nz/catch-the-action/13781/stewards-report.aspx Judicial report: Supplementary: Trainer L Cole was issued with an official warning when not adhering to the GRNZ dress code at Palmerston North GRC on Monday 11 November 2019.

Sad life, maybe. But not so sad that I cast judgment on the way others live their life. Anyways, feel free to keep following me in the forum Tony. One day I might live up to your preferred standards. However don't hold your breath, as it's not one of my sad life's goals.

sorry dada

Very well could be. Problem is, it isn't being put over another muzzle, therefore there was a dog on the racecourse without a muzzle "at all times".

https://www.grnz.co.nz/Files/Documents/GRNZ Annual Report 2019_3mmBleed_Individual Pages_Web compressed.pdf Was a bit surprising to me to see an RIU surveillance image included in the report. So GRNZ & the RIU are not only showing the rule book is being completely ignored at times, they are openly promoting the breach of the rules?

Mike proves again how things are now different in the CD. Favoritism has given way to fairness. https://www.grnz.co.nz/catch-the-action/13777/stewards-report.aspx ZIPPING COBRA (1) - away well settled handy challenged for the lead early in the run home and turned his head inwards for at least 3 strides when clear of other runners and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found and ZIPPING COBRA has been stood down ( failing to pursue ) 2nd offence. Good on you Mike. You made the righteous call which never would have even batted an eyelash your crooked predecessors face. ?

If it had won last night, it would have remained graded as C1. 28. GRADING PENALTIES 28.1 Subject to the provisions of Rules 28 to 32, a Greyhound shall be re-graded to the next classification upon winning one Totalisator Race in any grade except for C1 where a Greyhound must win two Totalisator Races before being re-graded to C2. 28.2 Subject to the provisions of Rule 34.3, a Greyhound competing in and winning any Race higher than its grade at a Totalisator Meeting shall be re-graded from its assessed class at time of Nomination to the "next highest class". Shocking grammar in my opinion "next highest class". Further to that, "Class" is not defined within GRNZ rules, nor is "Grade" for that matter. Remit required....
-
Quite interesting that the #3 & the #4 were both wearing blinkers & they were the only two not looking at/towards the lure in this freeze-frame from tonight's race. Surely the RIU will close ranks & conveniently not be able to see what I've spotted & documented here.
-
You didn't miss a thing... 27.1 Sprint/middle distance races: (c) CLASS 3 – This is a Race for Greyhounds graded at Classes 1-3 provided that the highest graded Greyhounds shall have preference in selection. A tactic used to get non-chasing & fighting dogs to race against higher class/faster/more experienced dogs, to hopefully keep them from acting up...

Maybe GRNZ could learn a few things from this too. Third world like results from a third world operation... https://www.grnz.co.nz/catch-the-action/13768/result-detail.aspx Race #1 Wanganui results from today. Race #2... Exact same problem for races 3 through 5....

Very interesting swabbing pattern at Addington last night. 95 Swabs taken! https://www.grnz.co.nz/catch-the-action/13761/stewards-report.aspx Have the RIU finally began to mature & had their balls drop? If so, I can't wait until their voices start to change!
