Honestly you can post under any name in the guest section, yes it's a tad of a free for all but Yankiwi does moderate it if need be. If you get to become a member you can't post in the guest forum under your member name, however you may log out and post in the guest forum under what ever pseudonym you wish to use . As Charles said its covering members rare ends from prying eyes so to speak. There isn't a ' team of cronies' in the members area, people that enjoy and love the sport and been watching it head in a downward spiral over the last few years. So many rules have been added and changed I believe I now have received three different copies of the rule book over the last year and abit, pryor to that I received the big fat nada. Also not factoring in what has been bought up through mainstream media over the last year and currently.

Ive been to the Melbourne cup greys where a few thousand on course and lucky enough to have a night at the Walthamstow Dogs in the east end of London before they closed the venue which was jammed. What probably grinds me the most is generally no major drama occurs with byo. Kaikora Cup is a magic day, more so for the day not the punting. The police have got a hard on with hitting anything booze related. Try the supermarkets who discount the crap out of booze. The Racing Board in its wisdom in my view have lost 2-3 generations of punters. People on course and having fun can only be good for all codes.

Aqua you have got to pulling the other one with Teaz. He blows more hotwind than a nor wester in summer and quiet enjoys making up a good punting story. Trev has done me in on the radio a few times. As my punting is very limited now and dont do alot of listening via car anymore. Best call was when Trev was commenting on what a marvellious job the window cleaners had done and the lids went up = gold lol.
