Hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Paced roughly throughout. Driver M Anderson reported he did not activate the blinds due to having the field covered. When questioned regarding the improved performance, trainer S Dolan advised the mare had been treated for a corn and he had made alterations to the shoeing. As a result of information provided by Mr Dolan and after making further enquiries, Mr Dolan was issued with an Information under Rule 1001(1)(k) in that he wilfully provided false and misleading information to the Stewards. Mr Dolan was also issued with a charge lodged under the Horse Movement Regulations. Mr Dolan admitted both charges and after considering submissions on penalty the JCA reserved their decision.
