  1. Only one part of the track it would appear.
  2. The Jockeys have pretty much decided to call it off.
  3. If there is Ace Lawson-Carroll will have found it. He's the short one.
  4. Possibly faster by race 2 but I don't know when they took the penetrometer out! Only seen two Jockeys walk the track!
  5. Walked the track this morning. Not sure how they worked out the Soft 5. A good shower late yesterday. Decent frost this morning Excellent grass cover.
  6. Then you would have 95 dogs out of 100 listed as OK. Then if one of them got ill on the way home it would seem someone like you would point the finger. Where does it say that?
  7. I don't understand. Do you want a report on EVERY dog EVERY day?
  8. Yes I got that wrong. Was getting a bit enthusiastic about maybe seeing something happen with the Riccarton track maintenance. Colin can be a right pain in the arse but he is right on this subject.
  9. Yes in my opinion they are making the strategy up as they go along well NZTR is. ENTAIN are running the cutter but no consideration is being given to the NZ Racing industry. I can't understand why NZ Bloodstock are letting it just happen.
  10. Colin is on a roll. A Battle Paint - Battle Secret just won the last at Wanganui!
  11. Yes. I hope they interview young Ace Lawson-Carroll about his great ride on Shamus. Made some of the more experienced Jockey's look not so.
  12. The track seems to be playing a lot fairer than previously. The Jockeys are starting to move sooner too on the bend putting their horses into the race. Doesn't seem to be any bias.
  13. Does anyone else think that it isn't working very well? I'm not sure Guy Heveldt adds anything. I tuned into Racing.Com to watch the lead up to the last race. I was interested to watch Federer who raced like a shot cat. The lead up was extensive compared to NZ Trackside however what really struck me was the post race analysis which lasted for about 6 minutes including interviewing Ciaron Maher the trainer of Federer. In contrast we get very little post race analysis.
  14. Looks like Te Akau might be a bit gun shy. Only 3 entries.
  15. Race 1 # 15 Race 2 # 6 Race 3 # 2 Race 4 # 8 Race 5 # 14 Race 6 # 4 Race 7 # 5 Race 8 # 4 Race 9 # 15 Race 10 # 17 Race 11 # 5 Race 12 # 8
