  1. I tend to agree about Oatham.
  2. I take it then you believe he was poorly advised and had little direct input into the redevelopment of the Ellerlsie customised Strathayr built with the same iconic corners? The same track that has to be verti-drained at least once a week often more.
  3. Pukekohe can't need coring for Saturday and Ellerslie must already be done this week.
  4. The sales results?
  5. Did I see Paul Wilcox CEO ARC as a spotter at the Karaka Ready-to-Run sale?
  6. Hopefully they don't use the same Ellerslie experts.
  7. So what worked? Bringing him back to 1600m which is what he has won most of his races at or putting the blinkers on which he has never won with?
  8. I wouldn't consider 2 Grp 1's, 3 Grp 2nd's and a 4th in the Cox Plate "average". The 4th in the Cox Plate at Moonee Valley over 2000m. The fact is Mr Brightside has never won past 1600m. I'm not sure you know what you are talking about.
  9. Why would Balcombe be in the running based on his Club efforts and more recently as COO of NZTR?!
  10. Surely not Wilcox. Tracks are NZ's biggest issue and can you say the Ellerslie rebuild has been a resounding success?
  11. Not necessarily. But don't confuse Bonus Cash with Bonus Bets. Two completely different free bets. The T's and C's for each promotion can be different. If you original bet failed and you get some credit back then you can check the expiry date in the Bonus Bet and Bonus Cash section on the app or the web site. Let's face it you are getting credit back because your original bet was a losing bet. When you compare what you used to get from the old site I don't see what people are bitching about. I think if you are pricing value in the market by factoring in bonus bets then you aren't going to do too well in the long term. Plus with a Bonus Bet unless you use it on a high return (high risk) bet you aren't getting a lot back after they deduct the stake they lent you.
  12. Why do we have to suck it up? I suppose he supports this ludicrous "cradle to the grave" welfare policy? You can't support that can you afterall you shouldn't if you are worried about the integrity of the breed. The muppets worried about social license are probably sitting in the Kohi Cafe right now ponitificating yet don't give a damn about the cow that for most of the year twice a day gets milked for their latte's! Then ends up as blood and bone as organic fertiliser for their tomato plants! Surely they can see the headlines now from the very small animal activist groups using the very statistics against the brainless appeasers who are collecting the data. But that won't worry you will it as most of the horses doing nothing in a paddock are geldings and that is helping the integrity of the breed!
  13. Is that a bad thing? The best horses win on Good 3 or Good 2 tracks. The issue is managing the irrigation and the wear and tear over three racedays. No doubt there will be some fast lanes.
  14. Josh Parr has got the ride on Captured By Love in the NZ 1000 Guineas.
  15. Makes you wonder what was wrong with it in the first palce. A horse didn't actually slip in Race 3 when they cancelled it.
  16. Makes you wonder what was wrong with it in the first place!
  17. Seems clear in every promo I've seen. Seems an odd approach though to have cash back and bonus bets as a key part of you betting strategy. How do you price that value in?
  18. I don't mind Newmarket bagging Kah and not backing her. Gives more value to the prices of the mounts she rides. Got a great value price for Goldrush Guru.
  19. Bonus Bets and Bonus Cash are two different things. Each promotion has different T's and C's. Obviously with all the big racing on at the moment they have shortened how long you have you free bets for. Seems fair enough to me. I've never had a problem being credited any bonus bets or bonus cash.
  20. I can cook but I'm not a Chef. So what are the protocols/rules/standards for track ratings? Seems some clubs provide penetrometer readings and others don't.
  21. What are the rules around track ratings? If a track is rated a S5 at 6am in the morning on raceday and it pisses down at some stage in the next 5 hours can the Stewards downgrade? How many ratings can they downgrade per race? Te Aroha yesterday went from a S5 to a S6 after race 1 then an S7 after race 2 but wait there's more... After Race 3 which was the extra race the track was retrospectively downgraded to a Heavy 8!!! Has that happened before? What time did the Stewards walk the track before race 1?
  22. Will win the Premiership.
  23. Well the market doesn't agree with you. He didn't accumulate many points for the Kiwi B yesterday either. I guess lucky he is owned by a slot holder.
  24. Geez after yesterdays run by Sought After does anyone think Waikato Stud may have chosen the wrong horse? You'd have thought it would have hung in there a bit longer.
  25. I see Captured By Love has been withdrawn from the 2000 Guineas nominations. Obviously aiming for the 1000 Guineas. I guess with both Pinn and Bosson unavailable Te Akau will look to an Australian.
