  1. What meeting is he talking about? He mentioned Otaki on the 19th.
  2. "very close" - but didn't clip heels. That's coming from this lot who have probably never galloped a horse in anger in their life! N Goodwin, K Jillings (Trainee), R Greig (Trainee). I'm picking you haven't either!!
  3. Or he was gutless and all talk. Instead he sits on the sidelines now sniping and bullying at all and sundry.
  4. Bollocks. Sutherland is only mentioned about 3 times and it is regarding the performance of the horse!!!
  5. Still claiming 1kg.
  6. The difference is Te Akau have their own sites - Wightman pollutes everyone elses with his self-gratification.
  7. Didn't he hand in his license so he couldn't be done?
  8. On a horse worth many millions in the lead up to the Cox Plate.
  9. Kevin Morton didn't hide. Wightman can't be that bright if he has to go on a Facebook forum to ask how does the Kiwi B Slot race work! Oh that's right that's just a segue to him talking about himself.
  10. Really? Obviously you don't go to track work much anymore.
  11. Dumb arse. They haven't wound up or brought out the best yet. Why would you when all the action doesn't start until 5 weeks time!!! Then goes on for another 8 weeks!!! What you are seeing at the moment are either the second tier or newbies. Some advice: don't take up training.
  12. What positive? That's a big call.
  13. Look "Pal" the fact is they arent running horrid. Get your envy glasses off and look at the facts. The big money isn't up yet and still they are leading the premiership by 30 wins and up with their average strike rate of 5.5. Feel free to keep laying them - suits me!!
  14. You were I take it? Or is this hearsay? I'm sure other trainers were pleased that they ran the meeting 2 days later. Hell if Wightman had said it he'd be a hero! Don't you think he and Te Akau has earnt that right? You'd prefer Te Akau talked about their failures? It is the same business model as all the top stables in NZ and Australia. Get with the programme! Then what is? You don't get awards for failing!
  15. Heaps online - the moment you ask him specifically he will start abusing you calling you an OBC apologist and trougher. To people he doesn't even know!!! FFS. Who? Plenty? Wightman isn't doing the industry any favours.
  16. FFS he has been ranting online for decades! He creates conspiracies where there are none and when asked to front up and debate and issue he runs for cover!
  17. He doesn't DESERVE success!! Success is earnt!! You train and race on the Poly - didn't hear you and your fellow trainers screaming from the stable rooftops?! Yeah well he tars everyone with the same brush including you. For all we know given your silence on the Poly track issues you are probably part of the OBC that he rants on about.
  18. When did you ever hear Ellis abuse all and sundry? Wightman tars everyone with the same brush because he hasn't the guts to directly name those he abuses nor what they have actually done that irks him.
  19. You're the only one banging on about it!
  20. You obviously haven't seen the BS that Wightman has written over the years and is currently regurgitating on Facebook. He has an ego as big as Saturn and enough sanctimonious gas to fill every balloon on Earth!
  21. Yeah a huge win in a Listed fillies race on a bog 10 heavy track in the middle of summer. Way to go. No doubt Wightman will be talking it up!!
  22. Blame the shyte track down the shute for 2 year old hiccup. Both pulled up shinny after their runs on the concrete. As for Damask Rose I talked my mates out of backing it. Second up after a very long spell due to injury, drawn wide and still 10 weeks to the Kiwi B. Still three weeks to the million dollar race at KM night. Damask Rose was one of many casualties at Ellerslie KM night. Bone chip I think I read somewhere.
  23. Really? That surprises me. I guessing now the issue is about competitiveness. I've always found Lisa very pleasant to talk to. Are you another wannabe failure?
  24. I'm not sure you even watched the Hastings race. The incident occurred after the horse had crossed the line so I'm not sure how you'd justify a case for disqualification!!! The Judiciary didn't seem it reckless and gave an opinion why they didn't. Up to you to justify your opinion. There's was justified on precedent. A bit pointless comparing races held decades apart. Rules change or are added, new viewing technology introduced and decades of precedent decisions. I'd be worried if there wasn't differences in decisions. But you keep on bagging Opie. Why don't you start on Lisa Allpress? She has had a few "incidents"!
