  1. Oh I guess you don't support the minority that want motor racing banned because of its affect on climate change?
  2. But you're failing and are focusing on single issues rather than the big ones. Highlighting single issues that the majority of stakeholders don't care about nor are they interested in you forcing your moral opinion on them from a minority position.
  3. 20% is enough to sustain the industry. Not that I agree with your figures. Support the minority 20% of which you were once a member. BTW what's the percentage of the population that supports Motor Racing?
  4. Survey taken in 2020.
  5. I see you missed the other pertinent comment about the race in the Stewards report. Regardless the correct result was declared even if the Judges call was wrong initially. Happens a lot actually but that fact doesn't support your conspiratorial agenda.
  6. Well stick with your equally fallacious argument. Not sure what you are trying to achieve. Obviously you've given up on the sport. Too hard to compete? Don't 80% of the OZ population bet on the Melbourne Cup? Don't tell them about whips.
  7. I hope she does well in whatever she chooses to do.
  8. Just be honest @Yankiwi you are as anti-greyhound racing as any SAFE activist is. Admit it to yourself. You were traumatised when you lost a racing dog and have being trying to appease YOUR conscience ever since. Just accept that the sport of Greyhound Racing was never meant for you. Don't pretend you care about the sport because you don't.
  9. So you attended the Melbourne Spring carnival this year? So you subjectively make up nonsense about the reason 97k people turn up to the races? You're just creating a problem where there isn't one? If you have had some late life epiphany about horse racing which you've obviously been an active participant in for a long time then go have a cathartic experience and accept that the attendances at the spring carnival dont support your crap biased surveys!
  10. They were there. How do you know they weren't there for the racing did you take another one of your surveys?
  11. Why isn't? The majority of punters don't care and the rest of the population wouldn't know unless you or Thomaas pointed it out to them!!!!
  12. What if he is a serial offender? He plays the margins as a lot of the top Jocks do. In your words many of the top Jocks are serial offenders. If they "sometimes gets away with it" whose fault is that?
  13. I wouldn't be surprised if the Thoroughbred kingpins chewed Winnies ear as well to get rid of them.
  14. That's why he is successful in OZ is it not?
  15. De Lore hasn't written a rational article in a decade and Lichter is in the pocket of the owners he writes for who just happened to be affected by the Judge's decision.
  16. Are you talking gross revenue or gross turnover? If it is gross revenue then I'd question the gross turnover being $1.4 billion lost.
  17. Doesn't Arion Pedigrees object to the two OZ races being Grp races?
  18. But the best horses are not chosen on merit instead each horse by an owner and slot holder auction process.
  19. This is what Ballarat produced yesterday: Penetrometer 5.46 Rainfall 2mm last 24 hours, 32mm last 7 days Last Update Inspection 6AM 7/12; Chance of showers throughout the morning Race 1 Good 4 Race 7 Good 3
  20. When a horse slips or when a Jockey says their horse felt like it would slip. Then the Stewards are all over it!! Well here are some questions for the RIB - the S5 was BS - was a penetrometer reading taking at 6:30am? Were any horses galloped on the course prior to the meeting starting which is in the NZTR protocol?
  21. Without a tail wind? Indicates how hard that track was.
  22. Just read more of the report the first upgrade from S5 to G4 was retrospective to race 1. That is they ran the first race, which was untimed and then decided it was a G4. Did Oatham or Goodwin walk the track when the got to the course presumably prior to race 1? When did they test the timing and Photo Finish equipment which are both linked? I notice no one reported back to the Trackside Studio.
  23. From the Stewards Report: Due to equipment issues, no Photo Finish or Official Timing was available for Races 1 and 3, with the inside Photo Finish camera only being operational for Race 2. So if they had no times for the first three races then they were relying on Jockey feed back for the track ratings? Lucky there wasn't any close finishes as well. From my observation of some horse actions there will be some sore ponies today. Soft 5 was complete BS. Very very amateur all round on a Grp 1 day.
  24. Was it? Looked like concrete to me. There'd be some sore horses off that surface today. But what about this is the Stewards Report? Due to equipment issues, no Photo Finish or Official Timing was available for Races 1 and 3, with the inside Photo Finish camera only being operational for Race 2. Conveniently no timing would hide what the Shute was like.
