    Are you an expert at shooting yourself in the foot or what??!! Which is more intense? Track gallop or fighting out a finish? Both of those horses shied at something and dislodged their riders at top speed. Jmac was looking over the rail at the breakfast the donutters were chomping on. Lily Sutherland has gone close to setting apprenticeship records (especially when up against pathetic cynics like you!) and yet you just cant see it. You really are a prat who makes Denis Denueto look like Matlock.

    So I take it you werent at Ashburton years ago when he was infuriated at the meeting getting called off he insisted they run it 2 days later. To think he has no sway on how NZ racing is run is wrong - pure and simple. Every opportunity he can get on social media and prattle on about his "achievements" makes for cringeworthy viewing. He has a business model that works for him and him only. Thats hardly deserving of a contribution to racing award.

    Yes it does go over the top but when you set yourself up with relentless self promotion and praise then those types do come out of the woodwork. Using other peoples hard earned isnt as tough as successfully training or riding horses. And what about the hundreds of big buys that havnt made it?! We never get those plastered on the website.

    Im no genius but even I could tell it was his fault. Defies belief how the judiciary skirted around that fact. Did they punish Denby because she was inexperienced?

    Just seen your other message thread. I can not believe how KC was never under the hammer straight away for what happened that sorry day in 2022. I could see it on the 1st replay that he was at fault. Hence my absolute shock when I read that Denby was to be scrutinised for her ride. I was about to say he got away with murder - that would be wrong - he got away with manslaughter though. And Walsh's summation supports that. Big ups to Denby since then - her career has taken off and she has proved to many at what a terrific rider she is. KC on the other hand seems to go from trainer to trainer and still rides like a madman.

    And where would I read this evidence. And Ill tell you what if they dont blame the other jockey involved (not DR-T!!!) then its absolutely wrong to take it seriously. That "other jock" was at fault Im telling you now!

    Quite a good segment. BS spoke a lot of sense and seems to have been busy behind the scenes with a lot of clubs, organisations, industry individuals, etc. I for one have questioned his impact but I think he has proved me wrong and that is good. He seems a balanced thinker and not scared to question traditions, but also cautious of the silly trends and ideas of previous management. I pray we are on the up.

    But hey we have Guy Heveldt possibly riding a horse for us in the near future. Thats gotta boost turnover!
