    Depends on her race performance and that of any near relatives. Her price at a sale,probably not the defining factor. As you say ...you're 'not sure' you would spend that sort of money on a yealing filly. You and most people with a functioning...brain.

    Funny guy.The first investment revved him up.As I said he knew his own limitations and got the experts in when he spent serious money. Guess how many duds BIG Dave has bought. Last ROI I saw had him a huge deficit.

    Not rare at all.Ever been to the sales? I remember Big Dave paying $2million for the best colt he had ever seen.....Saperavi=a dud. In those days he could be relied on to buy Pencarrows top yearlings and syndicate them.Had a good thing going. Bromley bloodstock could tell you a few stories about the ups and downs of 'dealing' bloodstock.You have to learn..fast.
