    Maybe there should be an enquiry as to why he ain't paid a divvy yet🙂maybe hes on performance inhibiting drugs,being fair though it did battle away better than most of them that number1 draw helps as it does for anybody else.

    While lots like the country grass meetings it's likely that few of the big time punters would bother,these fields are so hard to work out,so in reality is this good for turnover or does the prospect of getting good divvieds inspire interest?

    Be fair to say we would have two or three in the south island, ,Riccarton awt and Timaru grass track,probably throw Oamaru in as well,simple

    More southern meetings,only go to Riccarton for the bigger events,that's where Washdyke and Oamaru come in to play in the winter,simple

    There is an article on Mr Saundry and his thoughts on AWT in the ODT today,seems hes keen,biggest concern is what happens for Southern trainers,there is still plenty of life left in the south so dont kill it off.

    Interesting comments from trainer,maybe if the south got more meetings and didn't bother going to Riccarton would that be good for racing?

    On the other forum place there are lots of comments about washdyke,a lot that make sense,and the more you think about things that's where the winter racing needs to be more of,oamaru is another option,whatever they do at Riccarton these other places need to stay in the game,climate wise they are traditionally dry,not always but more often than not.

    What can any party ,government do for racing,? its up to racing to do it's own thing,the govt can only do so much.

    I dont think in some ways it matters how many donations NZ First get from racing people,no different really to how many rural people donate to the Nats,I dont think Mr Tame will be voting for his party though😊

    A strange irony a few months back when trackside radio was on a race from Albion Park had a horse called Arthur Lowe who was captain mainwearing racing and you would not believe but straight after that race from Albion a gallop race from Ipswich had a horse called Captain Mainwearing,what are the odds of that.
