I see Motukarara is on list? Is this just for gallops, surely not. No mention Kaikoura, or are they not closing any harness tracks?

Has certainly galloped in many races. Did like Il Parata tonight, but Paynter usually makes wrong choices in races, same happened tonight. Any other top driver, certainly pays a div, quite likely wins. Saved my money. I factor drivers in to the equation far more than i did 20 years ago when i bet

Sort of agree, tab had no competition for so long, and when they did, they just sat back and put the white flag up. Mergers all over the world with betting companies, tab were never going to survive in a high tech world by themselves. On a positive, combine all tab and tabcorp accounts, makes a far stonger combination going forward, especially for tab, with fewer accounts. No more high priority customers getting rebates

Hedley, Dont think they will act on everything, why would they close kaikoura or kumara, both are run mainly by club members at little cost, cant really see many closing. I have always thought the tab should be run by with an aussie partner, but not sure about 100% giving them control, that seems a bit dangerous. I suppose thou, which aussie operator would be keen to even look at our racing the way it is, tabs outdated jetbet system? If tabcorp does take over, i can see less, if any agencies. Many questions, very few answers

Yes, Genz needs to pull his head in. Hardly saving nz racing by inviting clowns to a racecourse online to over indulge and bet overseas is it. In fact, i wonder how many race goers of all ages, that actually follow the game, never turn up because of these louts. These are just uni types organizing a trip to the races, its been happening for years.

Bizzare??? Come on, your crazy statements just get worse. 1, Of course trainers wait until new year to really pump up 2yos, that period up until jewels is where the good money is. Racing calender very different years ago, you should know that. 2, No money in 2yo racing, so most dont bother???? Oh deary me.

Should bring horse to nz, not gonna win much money, but with the constant gate issues in nz, If his gate opens a few seconds before others, he is on terms. Could probably start 10seconds behind, still win against our horses

If National are serious about getting back in power, they have to get rid of Bridges. He is a complete fool, can hardly string a few words together. Other Nat members see him has a joke, everyone knows the leak has come from within.

True, But a good start would be to get back punters like myself, i have bet with tab exclusively until about 3 years ago, now they get less than 5% of my spend. Now im not a huge punter, but do bet each week. Turned over $2k beteasy, $1k betfair last weekend, tab $0. Multiply that by thousands of other regular punters, and thats a lot of dough. It seems over the years, tab looked after top elite customers, even give free bets and top ups to those that didnt use account for month or so, But sadly, those middle type customers, GOT NOTHING, and a heap left.

MK2, I ran a small comp, and to be honest you took all the fun out of it, to the point where i now stay away from comps. Most that enter comps, do it for the FUN side of it, with you involved sometimes the fun goes. I have nothing personal against you, but you do have a pretty bad track record when it comes to comps, i can say that from a personal view, in fact i did state that if a ran another comp, you would be excluded. Just play nicely, and people will change their views on you. BTW, i see very little abuse on here

Not sure lord modules quarter cracks made him so pig headed, sure it affected him running, but he refused to even walk at times, fell over and tefused to get up? In the head me thinks, but these type of nags have the ability.

Not sure by getting freeview back will have any effect on nz racing. Cant see too many punters not having sky, or the ability to watch free on some of the many devices available. Its harsh, but they dont see value in us oldies anymore, so we will keep seeing tabs and pub tabs closing down. If the tab wants my money, they need to look at what is offered to me by overseas operators, and compete,something they have never had to do in the past.
