just reading a written decision about race 1 at the winton workouts on the 10th of may.

 B wallace driving the horse in the trail. 

with 600m to go his helmet fell off,striking the trailing horses leg.

you have to laugh when you look at the video.

haven't seen that happen before.

Interestingly he was charged under a rule which said the chin strap must be properly secured.

The decision noted,because he had no prevbious breaches of that rule,his fine was reduced by $50.

Not having on your record, your helmet coming off previously,well, like,thats got to be worth the $50 credit for sure.

Did that guy who commentates  the trials at Winton go into a frenzy over it ?
