I loved how Moore ran into the slipstream of the riderless horse over the final 200m. Smart cookie, which is saying something for a jockey.

Or jockey specious 'skills, intellectual capital that they posses'  that each has to fall back on?

Perhaps he chose that option rather than trying to guess which way the riderless horse would go if he came alongside it.
