Weasel
Can a horse better known over fences win this tomorrow? Here's my case for Monarch Chimes. Stays all day, good jock, no weight. Goes Ok on Good3 ground ( 0 wins but 2 placings from 3 starts). In form on the flat .beat some highly regarded stayers home when 2nd at Ellerslie over 2400m recently. The opposition is not particukarly strong ... a shame when you consider the mighty heritage of this iconic race. Good value each way at $21 FO
barryb
Certainly not out of it, but poor value at $21. Dumbos like T don’t understand that poor value bets still win races and often, winning the race doesn’t all of a sudden make it a great bet. Weasel
update... MC had no chance at that tempo...great front-running ride by Sam Spratt but those other jocks let her do it again...should all be fined for being asleep on the job

Turny
An absolute farce - a poor field, no top liners and a dawdle of a procession. Nothing off the pace could do it though Felaar came home good. Very poor field of second and third tier ponies - such is the state if our racing - very sick Edited November 17, 2018 by Turny
