Freda Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 I donated a couple of sets of colours to the organization a few months ago....for a kiddies race....dont think they'll fit you! 1 Quote

Lol. Hope they weren't my colours! I have enough trouble keeping track of them. To be fair though I've seen lesser crowds on premier days at Ellerslie and that's with a $10 gate charge which is more than most race meetings command these days. Tucker looks better too. vlc-record-2024-12-20-05h16m19s-Rural New Zealand - S02 E02_2024 12 20_05 07 10_1_245.mp4-.mp4 2 Quote

A very old set of mine, in good nick but the up to date screen-printed ones are much nicer and lighter too. Also a set of Greenwood colours, unused for twenty years and unlikely to be recommissioned now. Appropriate for the district too I thought. 1 Quote
Shad Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 Certainly looks a great day out, track looked good, was it used as a tote venue at any stage, a blast from the past seeing and hearing Ian Chambers, remember many a year ago going to an equalizer meeting for the trots at murchison, they had a little all weather track from memory, be long gone now. 1 Quote

Still doing a bloody good job too from what I saw, especially when he gets the field 2 minutes pre-race and still has all the unfamiliar colours and names nailed! A few here could take notice. 1 1 Quote
