Newmarket
Look, i know this guy is a hobby trainer / driver. But surely, even as a hobby trainer you would think its time to give your horse a better chance by giving drive to full time driver. Foreigner today, for the 6th time in last 10 starts, it sits parked. Then when it was battling outside leader, trailing horse pushes out, causes it to gallop? Makes you wonder, i know, horse no superstar, but should have won race by now

I think he was rather negative early today, but really if you watch some of the other driving in recent months,Mr Hunt would be one of the few drivers who consistently gives his horse a chance each time. Its not his fault if another driver knocks him over as happened today. One thing im sure of is horses like running handy, and try harder if they are driven that way. It switches them on far more mentally,so I have no problem with mr hunt. Of course your driver needs to be able to rate speed as well.

And they would be able to give a more informed opinion on where the horse is at too, surely a better outcome all round

But not many good drivers that are in front, would want hunt going to the front. But i am sure if a more polished driver is driving this horse, others would allow horse the front. Bit pointless sitting parked all the time, just shows driver not confident, happy to be beaten.
Happy Sunrise
Race 1 today. Why wouldn't he push for the lead early on and then take the trail behind Zeddie Marit? Content to sit park the whole way and end up third. Another good weekly cheque.....won't be backing it to win again.

Good enough to win a few if driven by proper driver, but not this fella. Mind you, at least he is consistent, 7th time parked in last 11 starts? That must be a record surely.

No I think Neil Brady has the parked record (could be around 100 races in a row). Mind you I can think of several other contenders over the years.

Newmarket
Yeah, good on Mr Hunt. Yes, parked again, but did win him the race when out to sit parked lap from home. Its just too hard nowadays to sit parked the whole race, which has been the case lately. But credit to horse, knuckled down well to win. Now i know you are all asking, did i back it, Answer is no, zero, zilch. Think it will win a few more yet, but no more money on him from me. My new years resolution, know when to stop following fav horses, especially those with average drivers

Guest CrossCodes
Back to usual pathetic driving standards again today, sitting parked all the way. This horse is wasted being trained and driven by this guy.

Sadly, driver not too aware that horse in front was stopping 600m out, so carried back a bit, then 3 wide around turn. Never going to win, but better drive it pays div. Most of its starts, it has sat parked and battled well, today perfect run, should have been up parked 600 out
