TheHorseman
Does anyone know the rules around deadheats. I had a feeling the TAB paid full divvy on deadheats. I backed a deadhat winner yesterday on Betcha and also on the TAB - it looks like the TAB paid full divvy, yet Betcha halved the divvy - anyone else back a deadheat winner yesterday, what site, and what divvy did you get? The tab would have paid you the full amount on delightful peg, even though it dead heated. $21 to win seemed amazing ff dividend considering it had run 2nd at its previous start in a 1.54.9 mile rate, beating home kourtney kardash, classie linc and shakira. That appeared the strongest form reference of any runner in yesterdays a 0-1 win,3yo filly race. She seemed to get a bit lost when she hit the front easily at the top of the straight and then fought hard when the other horse closed near the finish. actually the tab also seem to pay out ff bets even when a horse gets disqualified/relegated for galloping. they are a couple of things the tab do that treat their punters well. Even better I got it at 31 and 5.50 and yes they paid out the full amount.
mikeynz
Tab will payout in full for deadheat, on fixed, , if placings are changed after a inquiry you get payed, if your horse is disqualified you lose.
TheHorseman
1 hour ago, Nowornever said: Even better I got it at 31 and 5.50 and yes they paid out the full amount. It was a weird market, Delightful Peg opened around $13's I think, I saw her drift to $21 early in the afternoon, so backed her then on the TAB. Then later in the afternoon she drifted to $31's as you got Nowornever - I did even better, I backed her to win on Betcha boosted odds $33, and I also backed her Money Back Odds 4th at $24's. I don't know, but the punters must have come for her after that because she must've closed at those $16 odds. So the TAB paid full odds, my $21, Betcha halved my odds at $16.50 and $12, so the question I want answered - are the TAB & Betcha different and that's just the way it is (that seems weird), or has Betcha ripped me off?
