Brodie
What is wrong with the Reefton winning post angle? We all know that the Reefton winning post angle is ridiculous. The outside horse has such an unfair advantage and it is long overdue to change it so that it is not so unfair!! When the commentator can not pick it, there is something majorly wrong. Come on HRNZ and Reefton, common sense says that it is ludicrous and it can not be difficult to fix up your error?

Common sense nowhere near as prevalent these days. This is part of the character of the joint along with swimming in the river out the back on a scorching day. 1

Shifted years ago after a horse ran off and over the outside fence, nothing to do with the corner, girl didn't steer the horse around the corner, picked him up at blacks point, I'm sure the angle never used to be that bad, in the right place for me today, backed up on Sinai sermon, unreal the 40s on offer for last start winner, helped get over the 51s fixed I missed at Westport, great racing up there today, very hot weather, grass track racing at it's best. Brodie
Interesting that 33 years ago they were racing for $4,800 on the West Coast. certainly wouldve been easier to make owning a horse a lot easier than today financially.

There was one yesterday that ran wide in the straight all of a sudden but still won, me thinks it was just showing off.
