If a little known apprentice navigated the course like a drunken sailor bouncing up and down like a whores drawers you'd never hear of them again.

In Australia or Hong Kong he'd be on the mat for not riding the horse on its merits and looking at a long stint in the sin bin.

Didn't that jockey win a premiership and seven in a day???

Yeah - seems to only ride well at Pukekohe

A lot of SA jockeys used the bounce technique, which I find ungenerous for the horse, and it's a terrible look given the way he rode his mount on Sat.

I noticed the bouncing ride on Jaarffi. Looked really strange. I thought it must have been an ungainly apprentice.

I read somewhere where a former jockey said "I don't know how he stays on the horse". He does however, so if there is an experienced jockey out there what I am interested in is: does his style help, hinder or neither.
