In Australia or Hong Kong he'd be on the mat for not riding the horse on its merits and looking at a long stint in the sin bin. Didn't that jockey win a premiership and seven in a day??? Even if he was told to lead, no jockey worth their salt should murder the horse in doing so. I've seen dead ones ridden like that but never in a million dollar race. Kennedy is a good rider, but he had a brain fade shocker with this ride. Hopefully he learns from it, and when things don't pan out at the start, he has a plan b and plan c, that don't involve destroying your horse. Shad Posted 3 hours ago Share Posted 3 hours ago Maybe the age ole bounce, used in many older generation of cranberry growers, where's the cranny granny, remember seeing it on TV many years ago, certainly was a shocker of a ride, had to go back to see who rode it, horse had no show, how would you feel being the owner and watching that, no wonder it tossed the towel in very quickly.
