FYI I was invited back to the South just last week......kinda cold even on a fine day , but I guess its just a cricket ball throw from the South Pole. And the gridlock traffic around the Arthur Barnetts Golden Block was fair worse than anything up north ! Deluded is putting it mildly, some of the shite is unreal. Ellersle always looks empty on raceday so new track Fine as it is only thing it attracts is owners and trainers, trying to invent big days like champions day but running a poor second to Christchurch, which beats anything Auckland does hands down.
