What happens when the top-up of poly material needs doing is another matter....won't be cheap and can't be far away from being deemed necessary Yep. Hence why I asked @Pitman for a business case. Special Agent Posted April 28 Posted April 28 Good old Brian de Lore ... The Trainers’ Association does nothing. It is a toothless, benign organisation that is seemingly frightened that its members won’t get their licences renewed each season if they say anything. I'll pass that on to Kevin Gray, Kevin Myers, Gary Vile, Moira Murdoch, Sally McKay and co when I next see them. Quote

That only leaves the track managers and the protocols for the preparation of tracks that come from NZTR. Actually, re that bold bit! Not true, while a track manager acting on head office protocols does play some role! They don't chose the historical reality that is there are now decades now of under Investment! in so many tracks! Facts like that came out in my serious research into long term investments etc in Industry! 30 years ago!!! Every critical number has got worse! Except increase in Wages and Propaganda! I think we are now seeing some compounding problems coming from this Underinvestment! Edited April 28 by Murray Fish 5 1 Quote

Unfortunately, despite the undoubted efforts of the above-mentioned, nothing is exactly what seems to be done. Wendy Cooper has always been very helpful whenever I have had reason to contact her and has done much to help trainers with staff/ immigration matters but as far as anything else...apart from a recent release indicating concern about abandonments nothing much else springs to mind. Maybe I'm ill- informed. 1 Quote
curious Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Good morning, 17 May Meeting to Trentham The Saturday 17 May Meeting, originally scheduled for Awapuni, will now be a Rangitikei RC meeting at Trentham. Given the extra servicing requirements from Entain this will preclude any races being added or divided at Hawera the following day. Kind regards, Dana Genefaas Racing Coordinator New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing p: +64 4 576 5092 a: 18 Dick Street, Cambridge LOVERACING.NZ Quote
