Portfolio
I’ve never had much luck with early pre post betting. I tend to lose out on the draw luck, then do my dough.
Brodie
Helluva risk betting early on the Jewels so far out. They may not even start, draws at Cambridge are important! You will probably get more on the day as well,on the Fixed Odds!

Yes have to agree, I have learnt my lesson betting ff early, even when field and draw finalised, you do seem to get better odds on the day.

Many Jewel races turn out to be pretty predictable Yeah ,there is always two sides to a story. But as some have pointed out the Mile at Adders isn't really an option. I would prefer maybe 1950mtrs. One thing that struck me at Ashburton though and this was 3yrs ago,was how cold it can get there. Bone chilling. I prefer to be outside mingling, talking to other owners, standing by the finish line ,and listening to the drivers before and after the race. One has to be rugged up.

globederby12
To be honest, after being spoil t the last few years with runners at the Jewels as part of two syndicates, I couldn't care if it was down our main street over 100 mtrs. The buzz is tremendous, premier racing at its best.
