Fred Posted May 28, 2019 Author Posted May 28, 2019 Lasix causes severe dehydration, horses supposedly run faster after losing 10-15kgs. Severe dehydration also causes thumps in horses -a few years ago a couple of stablemates won black type races and suffered thumps Quote

The evidence is solid that Lasix reduces the incidence and degree of bleeding. And punters walking away also Freda, so the others will have to look for new jobs as well. The whips they use today are not like the old days. Hit yourself with one and see if it hurts. As you know many horses are bludgers and if you take the whip away they simply won't try. The whip these days is more about the noise. 2 Quote

Now if you ask about perception, then the optics do look bad, but then the optics do not hurt the horse. So why the fuss, just grow some balls, and tell the snowflakes to get lost. I've done it accidentally and that through a rubber boot. Try it again and put some effort in or bend over and get the Mrs to have a go. Why would punters walk away? Because they can't figure out which horses are genuine and try from encouragement rather than pain? Quote
