Happy Sunrise
Not too much in the way of true excitement with this year nearly over but plenty of pleasing signs. No DD to make to a race of it but good to see some younger ones coming through. Tim Williams, John Morrison and Ben Hope Jr are up there. The 3 Williamson's at the top too. Sam Ottley and Sheree Tomlinson doing well for the females. Good stuff.

The improvement of both Johnny Morrison and Ben Hope both juniors has been big for me!

He is generally the same age as Dexter, John , Matt , Zac so are you saying John Zac, Dexter are just better than the rest ? John Morrison is young ! Your comment is I’ll informed . Aimee
Long owner Tim isn’t old yes he’s not a junior but you seem to get very upset any time anyone calls him young. He’s had a great season and worked very hard for our young family to try and get ahead the scarifies he has made for us are nothing short of amazing (like most drivers and trainers) I for one am so proud of him and what he has achieved this year. I don’t know if you don’t like him or if he has upset you in some way but he’s had a great season and I thank happy sunrise for acknowledging that 6

If you read my comment you could argue I didn't say Tim Williams was in the young category due to the use of a full stop. Anyway, I am not sure what I was trying to say. To clarify matters, I will substitute 'young' with 'emerging talent' but then again, I suppose TM is not emerging either so I will clarify further and say 'emerging talent at the top of the premiership' Tim has gone from 34 wins to 44 wins to 84 wins this current season. Coming of age? ? If you look at the names of those on the table and absorb them for a moment, it is quite incredible when you see the mix of the ages, experiences and feats of those involved...Purdon and Hope, Morrison and Orange, Herlihy and Tomlinson. Just shows that when a 'younger' driver steps out onto the track what they have to face. It is like fronting against 3 McCaws at the same time in one race. Takes a bit of balls to do that.

Mardy
A few months ago the junior driver premiership was looking like it was going to be a good battle, but as can happen Sheree seemed to run into a dry spell where she went win less for quite a while, and John Morrison was racking them up which will give him the title this season, still Sheree has reined home 44 wins so still a good season.
