Guest CrossCodes
Surely it’s time this horse is stood down and/or retired. Its gone from Paul Nairn to Michelle Wallis (both great with trotters) to Greg and Nina Hope, which tells you the horse is very unsound, and yet continues to gallop for no reason and rob the punters who believe the horse wouldn’t be racing if it wasn’t right, which it clearly isn’t. Seems the Hope stable is immune to the wrath of the stipes with the well documented One Over horses who seemed to be able to break every start with no repercussions from stewards. Maybe the owners just need to wake up and realise the horse is beyond repair and find him a good home.

Sometimes the carrot with a trotter is that it will suddenly find its manners and win everything. Matua Tana would be very good if it trotted. You only have to look at Sundee's Son, brilliant when trotting, but at the moment, it wouldn't win a R40 trot race because it simply can't get around. I keep backing Awesome Impee but trying to find 'the' day for it is near impossible. I am a glutton for punishment...
Flagship uberalles
It has the potential to be a superstar if they find the key to him, definitely worth perseverance
the galah
I understand where your coming from cross codes. They no longer stand down horses who continuously break time after time. Theres lots of them running round at the moment. As you mentioned the horses with ONE in their name were shockers. Other high profile examples are a g 's whitesocks-has he ever not galloped in a stand. Has Bordeaux trotted all the way in the last couple of years. he certainly got in Oscar b way today.Sundees Son.So many examples. Problem happens when they cause interference. As to matua tana. He hung terrible on the bends at addington 3 days ago,so no surprise he did the same today. looks like he needs a big grass track with no bends, where ever that exists.

the galah
Just watched race 1 at Auckland. daisy hill gallops for the 4th week in a row and wipes out a runner who's driver gets hurt and who's horse not much better after falling. Just another example . 2
