Yes, I thought the track played very fair with winners coming from all angles. Well done to the committee with what looked like a highly successful day, good crowd too.

There seems to be a link between holding successful meetings at places like Kurow and Reefton...and the urge by the hierarchy to close them down . I know I'm not the brightest, but it all seems weird .

Certainly was a great day out, thought the crowd was better than other years, track played  fair and winners came from front and back, hopefully the turnover was up.

Thank you Pam and everyone else.  We were pretty happy with our day yes and the track was in good nick (though will get some minor remedial work after the March Trotting meeting)

If yiu were there Shad you should have identified yourself so we could have provided some hospo.  Mr Notts from the other channel was in attendance - good to see him

Turnover was up hugely off course(Matamata was on the same day last year) and on a par oncourse($79k versus $81k last year.  Shad did you hear my comments re the powers that be?

Thanks for your kind offer, but thought your day would be busy enough, sorry didn't catch your comments, couldn't quite hear them if it was during the cup presentation, getting abit deaf these days,
