Newmarket Posted June 7, 2020 Posted June 7, 2020 Was driving past Chertsey recently, and saw stables beside old greyhound track. Was it just for dog racing trials, or did it used to be used as a harness racing track? Any info would be good, I can remember some good trainers around the area. Also, Hororata course, i see recently somebody said last race was in 1984. Where was the track, and is it still there? Ta Quote

Have had the odd qualifying day there over the years. Hororata track is still there. After racing stopped They had workouts there for a number of years. It is still used for training now. Had a couple workout drives there myself back in the day! 1 Quote
