Yankiwi
Romeo https://www.grnz.co.nz/greyhounds/profiles.aspx?AnimalID=32909 Two starts - Two FTP charges - Two serious injuries thus cancelling the FTP charges. A sickening display of collusion between RIU appointed race day vets and/or Stewards & a trainer.

As soon as i saw that dog shark attack at the start of that race i said to myself give it 2 days and i bet this dog has a setious injury with FTP rescinded. What would have happened is the handler would have sqeezed the wrist made the dog yell and the vet would have bought it. I personally do not think tbe vets in Christchurch are corrupt in.any way just inept and easily persuaded by intimidating aholes like Macinery Junior. He wpuld have taken the dog home to daddy who would have created an injury to the tricep muscle and caused substantional pain. Pain that was clearly NOT THERE the day it won that race easily. The dog would never have won the race so easily with any sort of severe injury. It is a complete joke he is a cheat thru and thru and he gets away with it time after time making a mockery of the whole judicial system. Honestjohn
I had a dog handler tell me he squeezes the paw of his dog if he doesn't want it to win. This is a leading trainer in canty and some years ago. Is this what goes on??

Yankiwi
Good thing for this dog & its connections that it's in the kennel of a very well protected trainer. Most other kennels and it would have seen a holiday.
Yankiwi
Wanganui last night. https://www.grnz.co.nz/catch-the-action/14222/stewards-report.aspx 2- MURMUR ( L Cole ) was represented to the on course vet under the provisions of rule 55.7 and has had the ( failing to pursue ) PNGRC 13-10-2020 charge rescinded and replaced with a 28 day stand down to to a right shoulder muscle injury and must complete a satisfactory trial. Rule 55.7 says this. 55.7 Where the Certificate of Registration of a Greyhound contains an endorsement under Rule 55.6 for Marring or failing to pursue the Lure and that Greyhound competes in ten (10) Races, without again having its Certificate of Registration endorsed for another offence under Rule 55.1, the Chief Executive or his/her appointed nominee may, upon application by the Owner or Trainer of the Greyhound, cancel the endorsement. Only one (1) application may be made pursuant to this Rule in respect of a Greyhound.
Yankiwi
So, since team Cole has presented the dog (made application) under rule 55.7, the charge of FTP must be reinstated. There is no serious injury clause under rule 55.7. Also, since a greyhound is only allowed only one (1) application in its racing career under rule 55.7, Friday night in Wanganui was it. The dog should now be back on its 3 month holiday & its right to one (1) ten clear run cancellation of a previous endorsement has already been utilized for this dog. Well done team Cole. Yankiwi
Thought I'd better screen shot the evidence. We all know how things like this conveniently & mysteriously change to suit certain agendas.
Yankiwi
No surprise. Someone flipped the switch....
Chief Stipe
So what's the difference between Rule 55.7 and 55.4?
Yankiwi
55.4 is provision to give a dog a second check for injury within 72 hours, which is what happened yesterday. 55.7 is to clear a historic endorsement on a dogs record after it has completed at least 10 clear runs. Yankiwi
22 June - 1st race day start. ROMEO (2) - turned head outwards early stages then ran outwards contacting outside runner on several occasions. Assessed by vet and found to have right sartorius and hock strain stood down for 28 days. Must complete a satisfactory trial. 10 August - 2nd race day start. ROMEO (1) - turned its head outwards on jumping whilst free of interference. Straightened and collided with GOLDSTAR HARLOW shortly afterwards. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was found to be lame in its right wrist with a 14 day stand down recommended not withstanding this the greyhound was stood down for Failing to Pursue the Lure. This dog was again presented on 13 August and found to have a triceps injury with a 21 days stand down recommended. 13 October - 4th race day start. Now clearly on the radar yet somehow undetected by the Steward. 30 October (today) - 6th race day start. Again, undetected by the Steward. 6 race day starts in which at least 4 of them it failed to pursue & it has a clean racing record. Either fix the system or end the corruption. This is just wrong...
aquaman
As long as you have grubby filthy shoes, you can get away with anything.
