Happy Sunrise
Here is today's verdict on her manners. A warning on the racing record after 2 warnings on her barrier record after all the stipes reports below. You have to wonder what the f**k the decision makers think. Compare this to (as pointed out in the other thread) Leaf Stride who gets a warning on its barrier record in its 4th start after breaking despite winning 2 races and being out of positon at the candy pole in the other. Seriously, I just find the whole thing a piss take. How can harness racing be taken seriously when it allows horses who cannot be expected to take part in a race start. previously at Methven before that at Timaru and before that and again at Methven and again with a warning and for good measure and why not

'Madame Sass has ability and if she was to trot the whole way she would win this race...blah blah' Punters go and back her and then realise they have been duped.

Averos Spitfire on the other hand will not win a race in NZ but would be very competitive in several parts of Oz, as it has got some speed! I am sure that it is extremely frustrating for the connections of Madam Sass, that they have a quick trotter that is just not able to trot a full race without breaking! It has shown ability and yet its form is as bad as it can be due to its manners. No doubt the Dunns are working hard to make it trot the full race and yes there was some improvement yesterday in that it did trot away and kept its gait, despite horses galloping around it. Anyone that has been backing her will be broke however that is the beauty of gambling rather than investing. Going to be very interesting to see if the Dunns can make her trot The full race as when she does look out! Guest CrossCodes
And yet again this horse refuses to even score up and gallops multiple times before being pulled up again......it needs to be banished to the trials FFS, talk about a protected stable. Happy Sunrise
Despite having a warning placed on her barrier record 2 starts ago they place another barrier record warning on top of it after yesterday and sandwiched in between is a warning on her racing record. Do these stipes even know what is going on? Do they not have memories or even records? Lets lift the standards and get Basil Fawlty in charge.

The stipes are generally more lenient with trotters but this is getting beyond a joke. The horse should not be allowed back at the races until it has trialed at least twice and where it has managed to trot the whole way. Joke.

Now, I don't know which way to turn.
