Gammalite
Not often you see a winner of a $200,000 race change stables after winning. Alladin after taking out the 3 yearold harness million New years eve resumes at Auckland Friday night . New Trainers Blanchards, in the north must be Delighted with this pick up of a very promising Horse. KRUG is still in town but Alladin will burn the lamp and give SWEET LOU a boost with a win over the Bettor's Delight colt KRUG. or will 'Tony AGH iceman' clean them up at the first corner again this week ??? drawn the outside again. lol.... Icy out there? How's your SWEET Lou filly Karrots? what stage is she up too?
Karrots
Good thanks Gamms, she’s turning into a real beauty. Changing colour too a wee bit. No gelding fees, as it turns out. I’m not sticking up for anyone here, re-watched this race in slow motion & saw Matt D clearly striking the wheel of Krug, so was about to solely blame Herlihy. Then checked stripes report & it says, A further investigation was held into the incident and it was established that FRANCO RIOT had shifted up the track when Driver P Jeffries took hold to concede his position which resulted in Driver P Ferguson in turn having to take hold of MATT DAMON which then broke after contacting the sulky of KRUG So rewatched that & yes that did happen. Franco Riot went out up the track. I don’t know. Did seem a bit funky that no-one got a warning tho. Ill be rooting for Aladdin :-) Quite like Warlock too for the reason doesn’t seem to get alot of luck lately.

Franco Riot being driven out from the pole , on loose reign sticking his legs up there , didn't help anyone...lol.. be interesting to see if he tries that again (Jeffries) his undies as might of 'changed colour' last week , like your Sweet Lou foal lol..He'll be a tad nervous now hahaha.. .. And much better horse in ALLADIN this week is in there R4 , so that will be a better showing and give the SWEET LOU's another boost all going well !!!!

I think Alladin has been sold to Australian owners, so he will probably head over there eventually Gamma. There are a lot of good three-year-old races coming up here so the new owners should recoup some of their purchase price. Good luck to them.

With yearling sales this weekend, wonder how much the Sweet Lou fillies will bring, in comparison to the weanling sale. Be interesting overall anyway. Only Eljay & I had fun guesses on how much the top lot would go for. I guessed $300k & Eljay guessed be a ph bidder. Do you have a guess? (That's a shame! ..lol better the $'s stay in NZ ,lol) I was looking at LA ROSA tonight , who I see won the 2 year old sales millions division last year and should go close tonight at Addington in the 3 year old division held for the first time. She was bought for $100,000. So colts about double that , I would go $200,000 . American Dealer bought for $23k ! they be happy folk now !! lol..

La Rosa has a difficult draw and will need to be extra good to win from there. Premier night and good conditions, sunny and little wind means coming from the back will be difficult. Despite that it is not a great field so she will have a chance. Good luck on the punt mate.

Regazzo Mach (2nd) went very nicely race 2, but was up against Mark P (who just drives so positively all the time) . Regazzo Mach ends up 4 wide most of last bend, makes up 4 lengths on Mark on 'It'sALL about Faith' but too late.!!! It was a very good race. Cranbourne (5th) went very well too , with a very positive drive on it from bad barrier, and was intitled to push Regazzo wide late, I spose, That would of had Marky Boy chuckling with glee on the leader.! Great racing and very nice horses in that one.

But will continue racing on a lil in NZ before Oz. Also read Aladdin had horsey flu/virus, hence effected his last performance quite noticeably. Guess but not sure that means his Derby tilt is out ...

Must be sick of Bettor Twist being around after another close second to it at Auckland Friday . Hoping she can grab an Oaks or something. ? Stylish Memphis won a NSW Oaks last season and gunning for Big $200,000 Ladyship mile tonight. ! A good stable and deserve it .....

Wow,a brilliant burst from 2nd last on turn carried Stylish Memphis to Group One Glory.A$200,000 Stake. then with the half hour High speed carried Majestic Man to the lead from a second row draw within the first few hundred metres. Thereafter he was not seriously challenged to Win The Group One Trot at Melton,A$100,000 Stake. Great Result for Kiwi Connections. 1
