Gammalite
Ray Green giving a couple of his stable a run very soon at Albion in sunny Brisbane, TOMMY LINCOLN and AMERICAN DEALER from the North Island. As luck would have it Team 'McCarthy ' is in town and popped a couple in against these 2 North islanders today. RANGER BOMB from South having raced at Addington last winter performing ok with 4 wins from 11 for the McCarthy super-stable since. looks a sure fire 'quinella' in Race 6 with only 4 locals chasing third money lol......... Race 9 AMERICAN DEALER is equal favourite for Ray and the north , with McCarthy on ILIKEMEBETTER who has drawn well. But could the horse from the Deep South of NZ THE ROCKNROLL KING blow them out drawn the Gun 1 Alley ???? 'sure fire trifecta' possibly?
Taupiri Wonder
Ray Green v Team McCarthy : Honours Shared 1-1 Tommy Lincoln: found the lead easily, soft second quarter, poured on the pace to put victory beyond doubt before turn. Ranger Bomb settled back, only sprinted final 300 to easily run into 2nd. Ilikemebettor turned the tables for Team McCarthy with a comprehensive win from go to whoa. The Rocknroll King a saloon passage in trail throughout 2nd. American Dealer 3 back on outer, shortlived sprint,a battling 4th. 2
the galah
Yes,american dealer was very average. Looked tired. I know it was its first start over there, but still looked like it needs a spell. Copy that looked the same before he left,so time will tell. Given how much hard racing those 2 horses have had this season, maybe they have decided to earn as much as they can now against their own age group, but the down side to that would be they won't be as competitive in nz in the future.Thats my take on how it will play out. Some may call me a knocker,i just think i'm a realist and horses aren't machines. I thought tommy lincoln ran up to his best nz form when he ran 6th in the jewels after getting the trail throughout, and he hasn't had the relentless number of gut busting runs that the other 2 have had,so maybe he can keep going for a while. Krugs the interesting one. I thought he had a bit over the other 3year olds in nz,and may not have been as taxed as the others, and therefore would last a bit longer, but his jewels run was disappointing. Was it a one off or not. Edited June 22, 2021 by the galah

(tots just playing around peeps, trying to be funny) 😄 Here is an article on the horses performances & trainers thoughts on both if anyone is interested. https://www.lincolnfarms.co.nz/stories/tommy-goes-all-the-way-untouched-and-there-should-be-more-easy-kills-to-come-in-brisbane/ Iv noted poor Dealer has had such bad bad luck when it comes to barrier draws, & always has to do extra work in running line & coming wide, maybe it is taking a toll. Not sure will see with his near future racing. Hope he gets a decent draw VERY soon.
