Doomed Posted October 25, 2021 Posted October 25, 2021 If a few of the qualified ones fall by the wayside through injury or lack of form they may struggle to have enough qualified horses for a full field. There certainly doesn't look to be the usual quality there. Quote
SLB2.0 Posted October 25, 2021 Posted October 25, 2021 What weight did Yeats fail to carry? Was it 60? Quote
Gospel of Judas Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 15th back on the order of entry, seems be pretty weak. Certainly, seems be quality drop from there. Quote

nomates Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 Other than Incentivise i have been underwhelmed by this years MC , seems very low key this year , obviously covid is having an impact . 2 Quote

Usually got another 4-7 good Nothern horse and odd Japanese runner. Why looks so average! like when NZ cup winner, Wellington Cup winner and placegetters use go over in late 90's and early 200s were not very good. Quote

aquaman Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 I'm throwing all form out the door this year and plumping for a hunch. The draw will be all important for me and my selection. Dependent on the draw will dictate how much the spend will be, but my hunch is last years Derby winner Johnny Get Angry. He has been working along nicely keeping under the radar, and should be peaking come Tuesday, and ready for a big two miles. Remember Young Werther ran third in his Derby at Flemington at this time last year. Should be 100/1. 1 Quote
