the galah
May is still one of our best drivers, yet for unknown reasons has no nz cup drive. If you look at who's driving in the event ,there are 3 or 4 totally out of form drivers who you couldn't back even on a favorite. Yet a 7 time cup winning driver has no drive? Robalan
Ricky has unfortunately found it difficult to get drives since his return after his terrible accident. I don't know why, he seems to me to still have his outstanding ability as a driver.

Have to go back to Kyms Girls Cup when that last happened
Chief Stipe
Are there still rules around who can drive in Premier races like the Cup?

All i know is that in regards to any one. You can't drive at Premier meetings until you have driven 15 winners. Am pretty sure that is correct, but no doubt i'll be corrected if that's not the case.
Guest CrossCodes
It’s sad to see the way Ricky has been driving lately, seems to have no confidence and rarely puts his drives into the races, he seems happy just to be going around, but trainers seem content to keep giving him drives, a good choice if you aren’t actually out there to try. His driving today at Ashburton has been abysmal.

He still gets the best out of his drives.
