Great to see Kaikoura turnover at $2.1m .Harness racing going through a boom period in the South Island with increased stakes up 27% and turnover up an average 25% per meeting from 2 years ago

Pretty sure the 2.1 was quoted on the box seat.

Box seat. Who bothers to watch that anymore?

It's a by product of living on channel 62, not something I would seek out.

Could be an approved cure insomnia?

I think that's where I heard it and definitely not Thoroughbred Weekly

Would like to see the turnovers for each meeting including the tote and fixed odds!

What I do know is that win /place tote pools are a fraction of what they used to be.

Would like to know how much the Bookies are actually taking on each race, as they are just a no risk Bookie outfit!

When they restrict many yo pathetic amounts and then they are showing $500 and $1000 bets as being large bets it is clearly not encouraging wagering!

I would love to be able to assist them increase their Bookie turnover if they would let me!!,

Although I wonder if Mick has an opinion on if the marker pegs are a good place to be and whether the Aussie gallops punters have a particular strategy when it comes to NZ Harness.
