mikeynz Posted November 26, 2021 Author Posted November 26, 2021 Senz are broadcasting the cricket, Garth Galloway and Coney are doing it amongst others, spose they are all dotted around everywhere linking up through the net, I wonder how that affects Coney on the ZB network, with the cricket going for 8 or 9 hours it's a bit disappointing they cant give a bit more time to the racing instead of running reruns after 6 on a saturday, af times like this, cricket that is that's when putting things on a app though is a good idea. What SEN are you listening to??? on the SEN NZ APP they have their main 24/7 sports/racing chat but they also have Trackside where u can listen to or watch all the races. Quote

That was the radio, had to leave early for the cricket which started at 5, no problem there but they could easily shift it over to the app, as for watching trackside on the senz app, I think it's only trackside 1 , and it just burns up ya data watching video, probably your battery too, as for the simulcast, I listened in when having a cuppa about the time of the first at Orari, was fine until the races got busier, then it just switches around all over the place, someone suggested they simulcast both trackside channels seperately, it dont really bother me know more but as I've said before its airy fairy, now today right now on the radio they have Addington yet the big meeting at Cromwell nothing it's all over the place, such is life, seems the people making the important decisions dont know what they are doing, yet devoting hours of time to cricket no problem, I have no problem with that full coverage as opposed to racings bits and pieces. We've been over it enough times as well as other subjects, nought really changes. Quote

Were about to cross to a race at Geraldine that they had put $25 each way on a horse and because it galloped before the Mobile left they never crossed over for the call. I hope the 3 guys on at the time have another job...No future on radio. Why do they have to end everyone's name with an "O" eg Marko, Daveo etc Quote

We've passed comments about senz before but in many ways what they do is very well done, as I write this comment the radio has soccer, the cricket is on the app, you have to have the app to listen, on the website,(computer) you only get the radio, but the racing is as I say airy fairy,finishing the days racing programme before 5 to do the cricket seemed odd, no reason why they simply couldn't have shifted the race programme over to the app for a while, there are things they can do to make it better,one gripe though is knocking off at 5 or 6 and then doing reruns of another show from earlier, the racing show is okaish but cutting the commentary straight after the finish and things like that those sort of things piss me off,not completing the days racing like the quaddie final race etc etc , it seems the people making the programme decisions ain't really up with how race followers like things done. 1 Quote
