Hj Its not a health and welfare issue as far as the dogs go Honestjohn, it is a problem for the humans tho. But it should not influnence the viability of dog racing. Just my view.

Its almost as if there was ‘something’ in him leading up to the big race, when the cumulative effect finally caught up with him. The amount of meth positives lately is not only giving the code a terrible name, but makes you wonder how many in the code are actually on this poison? BitofaLegend
RIB should be testing trainers, handlers and on course staff for Meth because there is a clear problem in the racing community. If people test positive, instead of criticising or punishing them, the industry should be supporting them getting clean before positives happen. People doing meth is an issue for their own dogs and others at the track from cross contamination and it really does not look good from the outside. Talking to work colleagues about it yesterday as some know i was involved in the industry in the past and they have all said it looks terrible. Yankiwi
Mr. Dore does not have the ability to muzzle me. I haven't been an LP for several years now, so I'm not regulated by the GRNZ rules, however he is. I'm able to say anything I'd like, provided I remain within the boundaries of crown law, which my posts remain well within. 1 1
