The hot pace was forced by Cinimod Junior and Peter Ferguson taking on Aussie Lightning Blue 😄. so ...... At the finish Skipper Dale comfortably was beating the 3 Aussie's Paleface Bubble, Sunset Candios and Lightning Blue just clinging to 4th (about 10 lengths behind Skipper Dale) !!! In the Interdominion Grand Final (over the same 2600m distance) 'Blue' and 'Skipper' swapped places and it was the same First 4 horses home 🏆 . Lightning Blue 1st , Paleface Bubble 2nd , Sunset Candios 3rd , Skipper Dale 4th. The trifecta paid over $4,500 too . They ran just inside the Nz record time set by Skipper Dale a week earlier too.
