Forbury
Two easy decisions for stewards.how long to give carter a suspension and upheld protest as mark Purdon caused all the interference and mister smarter was clearly going to win until mark interfered with it .it clearly showed this on overhead view
Forbury
There is not a world class racing district that would not upheld the protest...winner caused interference when second horse was going to win.simple.hello retarded stewards in nz

Blossom lady
You need spec savers . It was quite easy to see carters horse had gear malfunction causing it to over race.
the galah
Normally i agree with most of your assessments of races forbury, and yes they did relegate the purdon runner, but personally i was surprised there was even an inquiry. Sinbad came from 4 lengths behind, and i thought he lost his own momentum when he ran in a little and locked wheels. We all see things different, but if you backed sinbad to win i think you would be feeling rather annoyed .I only had a place bet myself so my opinion not influenced by that.

And Drug didn't look so good this week my old mate. Biggest jack up in racing was his win in Addington when given soft sweet trip by Smithis Terror who pulled out to sit parked to give Krug a soft run. Good to see both horses well back today. Forbury
These stewards are pathetic no nothing coganative impairment disgrace Dobbs did not diminish any horses chances yet carter certainly diminished the chance of d keasts horse who had the speed to hold the lead and beat carter home.carter diminished the chances of his horse and more so the leader keast horse.he should of got a big holiday suspension.IMAJOLLYWALLY - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced wide throughout. Weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Driver L Dobbs admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(g) in that he drove in a manner capable of diminishing his chances of winning when allowing his horse to race three wide throughout before weakening inside the final 400m. After viewing the replays and considering penalty submissions, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Dobbs' driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 10 November up to and including 10 May 2023 (6 months). The overview shot by the drone was very telling that it had to be upheld and the close up when Purdon came in.there was big contact Tims cart went sideways alot.if you see them two replays maybe it would change your mind.the overview drone replay showed tim was going to hold off Sinbad until it caused his horse interference and Sinbad's big sprint came to a end this why it shifted in big time.tims horse also did kick when it saw or heard Sinbad coming.it was a great race and a great days racing

I did not see that at all but read that in stewards report so that saved him but he carter did still do some crazy things in the race.he diminished the chances of the leader and his own horse.he did have the option then to pull the horse out of the race instead of killing another horses chances.i loved blossom lady was a fav when I was a youngster and Mooney valley which it raced at.all the best champion

It did cause tim williams to be pushed a bit sideways as you say,but was his forward momentum slowed by a push from behind and ever so slightly the side? Theres no doubt watching the video that sinbad came from 4 lengths behind, sinbads forward momentum was slowed when the contact was made, and then after the contact sinbad improved to take the lead just before the finish. Stop the video just prior to the contact and look at the horses positions. Then stop the video at the point of contact and again just after the sulkies separated(sinbad is still behind). Then stop the video again a stride after the sulkies clear, sinbad is still behind. Personally i think for purdon to lose that on a protest meant he put up a less persausive argument that those who argued for the relegation. To me he had the video evidence to have argued a case strong enough to not be relegated. Edited November 9, 2022 by the galah

We can agree to disagree but I agree with what you said.the main factor in upholding the protest would be that Sinbad caused the interference thus protest upheld and mark Purdon suspended further more that protest would have been upheld in the best racing districts in the world North America Canada France but I do not consider Australia as one and who knows what they would of done there.all the best champion and may luck be on your side
Blackie
If MP had of kept his horse straight he would of held the race , simple. He got the suspension.
Robalan
I don't often disagree with you Davis but I think your comments about Carter Dalgety. Hr is a very competent young horseman. I think the proof of this is the fact that he has the second highest UDR of all the Junior Drivers for this season and had the highest UDR last season
